See...I maintain republicans haven't stopped Trump because they do not want to stop Trump. They are colluding with Trump. They want Trump, because with Trump in power, he can pull the levers that give them what they want. They want the entire 2025 project and everything that comes with it. Trump represents their cause, their mission, their crusade to destroy democracy and turn the US into an authoritarian, fascist dictatorship. Trump is the figurehead and the personification of the party itself. Trump is, what they are. They are, what Trump is. They're both the same.
