Trump this.

And now...because of the rrrzzian financing and on the heels of insider trading...more questions about the Trumpian/DWCA deal.

Democratic groups escalated calls on Thursday for Congress to investigate Donald Trump’s social media company Trump Media after a report that it relied partly on emergency loans in 2022 traced back to a Russian-American under federal criminal investigation to make it to its stock market debut.

The move increased political scrutiny into the merger between Trump Media Technology Group and the blank-check company Digital World Acquisition – which could net Trump about $4bn – as federal prosecutors secured guilty pleas from two investors who insider-traded on the deal.

And meanwhile, the founders are suing each other. My favorite line in this story, "Trump’s lawsuit claims that Litinsky and Moss, who were both contestants on Trump’s reality-TV show 'The Apprentice,'...".

Donald Trump is suing two co-founders of Trump Media & Technology Group, the newly public parent company of his Truth Social platform, arguing that they should forfeit their stock in the company because they set it up improperly.

The former U.S. president’s lawsuit, which was filed on March 24 in Florida state court, follows a complaint filed in February by those co-founders, Andy Litinsky and Wes Moss. Their lawsuit sought to prevent Trump from taking steps the two said would sharply reduce their combined 8.6% stake in Trump Media. The pair filed their lawsuit in the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Trump’s lawsuit claims that Litinsky and Moss, who were both contestants on Trump’s reality-TV show “The Apprentice,” mishandled an attempt to take Trump Media public several years ago, allegedly putting the whole project “on ice” for more than a year and a half.

I still refuse to do it...but I know what she means.

Watching a Trump speech in full better shows what it’s like inside his head: a smorgasbord of falsehoods, personal and professional vendettas, frequent comparisons to other famous people, a couple of handfuls of simple policy ideas, and a lot of non sequiturs that veer into barely intelligible stories.

Probably. But pretty easy to pull off.

The oligarchs see Trump as their very necessary and useful idiot.

I have no problem imagining them pledging enough to cover the claim. They'll be spending it to buy races anyway...why not get some dazzle?

There is no money number that Toad won't lie about, no crowd he won't inflate, or award he won't say he didn't get.

I'm really not sure that business interests see Toad as beneficial for them; some individuals may, but Toad is not good at making people money. You have uncertain markets, along with the instability and erratic policy based on fantasy. Big business wants the status quo, not fascism.

The ideologues will support him for those reasons; I don't think the others are at all interested in chaos.

He will have the support of all the big money who sees him as their route to overturn democracy, to cut their taxes and regulations and for some to enact their own far right wing religious social agendas.

There's a lot of them.

Yes....it appears poised to drop through another psychological barrier...besides already trading lower than before the listing on NASDAQ.

Once it drops under $40...it will likely trigger another round of selling as those who originally bought in at that point try to get out before it drops below $30.

If it drops under $30 a share maybe Trump will sue those who sold, I mean you know he’ll want to.

If they are insiders...I can see this.

There is no way this ends well for people who went long on this bet.

It always ends the same.

"A little bit of history repeating".
