There was another hearing today over a motion from the NY prosecutor regarding additional gag order violations by Trump prior to the latest order from Judge Merchan.

Trump's attorney used the opportunity to call out Michael Cohen, who has recently made a number of Twitter posts about the trial.

In another first in American history, Trump's attorney read a post where Cohen referred to Trump as "Von SchitzInPants".

This has inspired a rebirth of the #TrumpStinks and #TrumpSmellsLikeAss hashtags. In addition #VonSchitzInPants is also trending.

“Ben Borgers and his audit firm, BF Borgers, were responsible for one of the largest wholesale failures by gatekeepers in our financial markets,” the SEC’s enforcement division director, Gurbir Grewal, said in a statement.

“As a result of their fraudulent conduct, they not only put investors and markets at risk by causing public companies to incorporate noncompliant audits and reviews into more than 1,500 filings with the Commission, but also undermined trust and confidence in our markets,” Grewal said.

BF Borgers did not immediately respond to requests for comment by CNBC.

The CEO of Enron went to prison for 24 years. Enron's accounting firm, Arthur Andersen, had been in business for 90 years when they were found guilty of obstruction of justice for shredding documents to cover up their incompetency and corruption for certifying Enron's statements. The Enron scandal and the Worldcom bankruptcy and the demise of Arthur Andersen are are cautionary for any accounting firm that tries to cover for their corrupt clients.
