Trump this.

I can't do it any more. I loathe the sound of his voice so much that I have a visceral reaction.

I have to wait until it is transcribed.

I get it. I have a pretty strong stomach but it's a challenge for me to listen to it. At this point, I just fall back into DSM-5-TR mode. There's a method to what he's doing- he tries to steer everything back to immigration- he just does it badly.

He's making ridiculous promises like he's going to lower utility bills by 50% in his first year. Every CEO in the oil & gas industry just heard that and said, "Over your dead body, you will".

One particularly odious moment was when Huckabullshit said, "God isn't done with you yet. He has big plans for you!". Nobody mentioned that God seems to be sending crazy people to assassinate him?

So as low as $14.77 today, now sitting at around $15.00.

$14 is some kind of benchmark for some reason I didn't fully understand...and if it drops below that...the floor price is $12...after which the stock theoretically goes into freefall as everyone races for the exits.

But Trump could still net between 1 and 2 billion as it crashes if he can find the buyers. And if those buyers are buying to gain influence with Trump...it would be a small price to pay for some.

Every once in a while I'll try to listen to Toad, but the most consistent thing about him is that it's never worth my time.

You have to have a fondness for those old Family Circus cartoons where Billy gets sent on an errand. Or you have to be the sick kind of mind who enjoys doing sentence diagrams of Sarah Palin speeches.

No. Just no.

In my professional life, one of the most difficult things I have had to endure is sitting at some meeting table, listening to some poorly educated, barely literate functionary who has made it to some level of lower to middle management dish up a word salad of nouns and verbs that they think make them sound like they are more educated and smarter than they are.

And I have to confess, at some times, the incredulity and my impatience has probably shown on my face.

I would cut off my hands and poke out my eyes before I would be forced to diagram a sentence uttered by Palin...and the same at this point with Trump.

This way would lie madness.

Ended the day at $14.70 and dipped to $14.31 after trading so that tells us how much shareholders trust Trump not to sell off his shares after tomorrow.

I doubt that there is an immediate buyer for every share he owns, so the price would be plummeting as he was trying to offload it, and he only gets one shot at this.

UNLESS

It was always a money laundering scheme and he's got a "buyer" willing to buy all of it at a pre-set price. I can't imagine who that might be.

Totally a money laundering scheme. And we all know it.

Which of you Canadians turned off the faucet?

"The audience went crazy".

So... did Trump not notice that there was NOT an audience at the ABC debate with Harris?

So the $14 barrier has been breached pretty soundly, trading as low as $13.50 and again being propped up by end of day trading to the $13.75ish level.

I would argue that TMG has now entered the meme stock arena where only manipulation will keep its head barely above water...unless Trump wins.

If he sells any shares now, it will be a pretty clear indicator he does not think he'll win, but this looks like no one trusts him today not to sell.

I can't say I am surprised at all by your post above, I feel sorry for you.

That's nice you feel sorry for me having to endure the spew of words from stupid people who want to pretend they are smart or erudite. But I guess it is my cross to bear. :rotflmao:

It is tragic though, to think there is any possibility of Americans, let alone the rest of the world, having to endure these types of pronouncements by Trump if he manages to get back into the Oval office.

The IQ of the US must have dropped about 25 points the first time around.
