Trump's whole strategy is to cheat in the key battleground states and somehow throw the election to the Supreme Court or mob control of the Congress when it comes to certifying electors.

It is staggeringly clear that the brains behind this coup think that this will be a failsafe strategy.

All he has to do is fuck up Georgia and Arizona.

Both States have Legislatures that are Republican. In 2020, Sen Mike Lee (R-UT), was behind a plot to throw the selection of electors to the State Legislatures, who was presumably overrule the popular vote in their State and award Trump the Elector votes. If you watch Cleta Mitchell's testimony to the Jan 6th Committee, she details the plot. Other involved in the plot- Ginni Thomas, Roger Stone, Ted Cruz, et al, are still around.

Cleta and Roger Stone had a lot in common.

Cleta Mitchell has been allowed to run around for the past 4 years visiting State Republican Legislators pushing the same plot and promoting voter suppression. She was never charged for her 2020 misdeeds and retained her law license.
