Trump this.

Is it though? ;)

Meanwhile, in other grifter news....

Trump is hawking "Trump watches".

This has been yet another boom for joke writers.

You can tell it's a Trump watch... if you buy two, they link together like handcuffs.
You can tell it's a Trump watch... because the hands are tiny.
You can tell it's a Trump watch... if you try to set it to military time, it says, "Sorry, I have bone spurs".
You can tell it's a Trump watch... there's one for men and there's one for women that is set back 50 years.
The thing about those $ 100,000 watches. . .the younger set don't buy classic watches, they prefer their smart watch. And, the older set wouldn't be caught dead in a piece of cheap, gilded, overpriced junk as these ](*,) If one is going for class, one goes for Rolex, Omega or TAG Hurer

So according to J.D. Vance Ronald Reagan’s Cadillac driving welfare Queen who has 5 children by 5 different men and who was the bane of the Republican Party in the early 80’s now has a greater stake in the future of the good ol’ USA than I do. While it’s good for a party to embrace change mutations should be carefully avoided.

J.D.'s views on women are bizarre, even for a misogynist. It's all coming from the decline of white babies being born and the fears of a Browm America though. Just like Reagan, it's the same bigotry.

Plus, Vance is just a liar like the rest of them. He'll say whatever in order to promote his own interests.

Psst. Reagan wasn't talking about white welfare queens. :-$

The cognitive dissonance is deafening.

On one hand, right wing talk radio has spent the past couple of decades talking about the "browning of America", lamenting that the birth rate among minorities is much higher than the birth rate of white people.

On the other hand, JD Vance has 3 brown children that he has fathered. MTG tweeted that if Kamala is elected, the White House is going to smell like curry. Well... if Trump is elected, what does MTG think the the Naval Observatory (where the VP's family lives) will smell like?

Meanwhile, Trump is desperately trying to get Latino men and Black men to vote for him.

Plus, Vance is just a liar like the rest of them. He'll say whatever in order to promote his own interests.
And this is where there's a gap between the shepherds and the flock.

What Trump and Vance have in common is that they'll say whatever they think their followers want to hear. Trump would love to claim credit for the COVID vaccines but he can't because his followers have a strong anti-vaccine bias. Vance talked glowingly about his wife in his book but because he's in bed with a group of anti-immigrant racists, the wife and kids are rarely seen with him in public.

Has anyone seen this running in their state? We’re getting zero presidential commercials. I wish they’d air it in Ohio.
Lincoln Project seems to be focusing on internet ads.

What I'm seeing on cable TV and hearing on radio can be divided into two themes:

From the Democrats: "Joy", "Competence", "Women's healthcare" and "Not Again".

From the Republicans: "Harris has really been the President for the past 4 years and the border and the economy is all her fault".

and this lame commercial:

It's almost like the Trump campaign paid for a bunch of anti-Biden commercials and in the past couple of weeks, they took a marker and changed "Biden" to "Harris".

If you said to yourself, "It can't get worse than Laura Loomer".... well...

Lance Wallnau is a pastor who is aligned with the New Apostolic Reformation (the "Dominionist" group that Mike Johnson, MTG and Boebert are aligned with) and the White Christian Nationalist movements. Wallnau has described Harris as both a demon and Jezebel, like Hillary Clinton, but even more evil because she's younger and mixed race. Wallnau also claimed that Trump's poor debate performance was because Harris is a witch and she cast a spell on Trump.

Fresh off JD Vance's appearance on Tucker Carlson's program, Vance decided to go hang with the Dominionists and White Christian Nationalists.

Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance appeared Saturday at a town hall event organized by top Christian nationalist leaders who promote election denialism and portray Vice President Kamala Harris as a “demon.”

The event’s host, Lance Wallnau, who emceed the live event and introduced Vance’s first town hall on the campaign trail, is a leading figure in the fast-growing New Apostolic Reformation, a movement that preaches Christian supremacy through a blend of prophecy and hard-right politics.

Though a campaign official said Vance and Wallnau didn’t speak to each other, Vance’s appearance at Saturday’s event was the latest example of the Trump campaign intersecting with once-fringe figures who now have wide followings.

Below is a picture from the event. This is a gathering of pastors and Christian Nationalists. Notice the blatant display of "Trump Vance Make American Great Again 2024", in spite of the Johnson Amendment restrictions on tax-exempt religious organizations promoting political candidates.
