Trump this.

There is one theory that getting him fixated on the Kennedy Center (to be renamed the Trump Center, mark my words), might be a good thing though because it may distract him for picking new fights with more countries or people around the world.

Him obsessing over how the bronze columns should have been clad in marble and coming up with a new red and gold colour scheme for the Center and picking all the homorees himself and hosting the ceremony might chew up time that he would otherwise use to dwell on how to hurt even more people.

Does everyone remember when President Biden revoked Secret Service protection from Don, Eric, and Ivanka?

NO?

It's because he didn't.Because he's not a petty ass like Trump.

I wonder what the coal companies paid him for this? Problem is...I suspect that even the electric generating companies in the US aremoving beyond the 19th century.

How many coal-fired power stations are there that are now operating at low capacity? Their output could be increased, but you can't suddenly turn coal into energy if there are not sufficient power stations idling.

Apparently over 200.

A lot of them are pretty small and a number of them are already due for retirement because it likely doesn't make economic sense to keep them in operation or to re-furbish.

However, some coal plants remain profitable because costs to other people due to the health and environmental impact of the coal industry (estimated to average 5 cents per kWh)are not priced into the cost of generation. Some coal plants are considering only operating during periods of higher electricity demand, from December to February and from June to August.

Trump's nonsensical edict doesn't take into account that most coal mining operations have also ceased because coal is not an economical alternative for energy and many mines were either not efficient or had also reached end of life where the inputs to extract would exceed the value of the output.

But leave it to TrumpCo. to be living in the 19th century.

Trump's rage over Canada runs deep. And again, his declining mental capabilities are on full display.

"Canada was meant to be the 51st state...One of the nastiest countries to deal with is Canada. The people now which. Now, this was Trudeau, that girl Justin, I call him Governor Trudeau, he was, his people were nasty. And they weren't telling the truth. You know that. They never tell the truth. Well they say 'We don't charge!" Well, they do, they charge tremendous...We subsidize Canada. And I like Canada. I love Canada. I love Wayne Gretzky. I love his wife....I had the most successful economy in the history of our country in the first four years...Canada doesn't pay for military. They give us nothing. And they are the WORST people to negotiate with of anybody."

—the President of the United States to Laura Ingraham, March 18th, 2025

I have no doubt this madman would order an invasion of Canada in a minute.

Seems a good place to include this one from the other thread for context.

He bears an eerie and creepy resemblance to Paul Bettany in "The Davinci Code".

Too bad that Trump doesn't have to give a shit about approval ratings any more.

Emerson College's survey, conducted between March 2-3 among 1,000 registered voters, showed Trump with a +18-point net approval among men, with 56 percent approving and 38 percent disapproving. However, by March 10, his net approval among men had halved to +9 points, with 53 percent approving and 44 percent disapproving.

That is one hell of a plunge.

And I am sure that TrumpCo. are looking for more red meat to throw men as the price of eggs doesn't come down, they are losing their jobs, and???

To be honest, I can't see the reason for the drop.

For black men, maybe finding out that the military is not only heading toward resegregation but that they are literally being erased from history might be a bit of a piss-off and for Latinos for Trump, it could be that they or their families have been targtted by ICE...but for the white guys...it can only be that so many of them are seeing contracts cancelled, and maybe some of them losing their white collar federal funded or adjacent jobs?

OR is it tariffs and the impanding crash in the economy? That is most likely the thing that keeps cis het white males lying awake at night as they wonder how all of this has been turned back to hurt them as well?

Well, I called it.

TrumpCo. has responded to the Fed forecast by telling them to cut rates.

I guarantee this is going to come to a showdown between the guy who has gone bankrupt 6 times and doesn't understand the economy and the Fed Board.

The US would like to have a word about the Jan 6th insurrectionists.

The Toddler-In-Chief doesn't like this painting. Of course, no one should ever post a picture of this painting. Ever. That would make him very sad.

No word on whether Elonia's or Vlad's images would be added at a later date.

Gov Polis did respond to inquiries from the Press:

A spokesperson for Polis told The Hill, “Gov. Polis was surprised to learn the President of the United States is an aficionado of our Colorado State Capitol and its artwork. The State Capitol was completed in 1901, and features Rose Onyx and White Yule Marble mined in Colorado, and includes portraits of former Presidents and former governors. We appreciate the President and everyone’s interest in our capitol building and are always looking for any opportunity to improve our visitor experience.”

"Put money in. Get pardon out."

This guy bilked investors out of $500 million, claiming that he was making EV trucks. During his trial, they showed one of his promo videos of one of his trucks driving down a desert road; in fact, the truck didn't work and the video was of the truck put in neutral and rolling down a hill from gravity. A Federal Court found him guilty, ordered him to prison and required that he reimburse his investors for their losses.

Then he gave $1.8 million to Trump's campaign. Trump gave him a full and complete pardon this week.

The bribes are no longer under the table. Trump is running a criminal enterprise from the White House and it's all out in the open.

Trevor Milton, the founder of electric vehicle start-up Nikola who was sentenced to prison last year for fraud, was pardoned by President Donald Trump, the White House confirmed Friday.

The pardon of Milton, who was sentenced to four years in prison for exaggerating the potential of his technology, could wipe out hundreds of millions of dollars in restitution that prosecutors were seeking for defrauded investors.

Nikola founder Trevor Milton was sentenced Monday to four years in prison for lying to investors about the company’s hydrogen and electric truck technology.

The sentence is significantly lower than the 11-year sentence federal prosecutors were seeking. Milton was facing up to 60 years behind bars if he was sentenced to the maximum penalty.

“Trevor Milton lied to investors again and again — on social media, on television, on podcasts, and in print,” US Attorney Damian Williams said in a statement. “But today’s sentence should be a warning to start-up founders and corporate executives everywhere — ‘fake it till you make it’ is not an excuse for fraud, and if you mislead your investors, you will pay a stiff price.”

Milton will also turn over property in Utah and pay a $1 million fine, the Justice Department said in a news release. He will also face three years of supervised release after completing his prison sentence.
