The idea that the US handed ownership of any person to a third country and is somehow so weak and powerless that it cannot undo an error to

It is another turning point for the US as the country descends to another level of moral depravity.

But as I have noted, I think he is already dead and if not, the US has directed Bukele that under no circumstances is he to be returned to the US.

The statement he made in the press conference with Trump made it clear they have zero intention of Garcia ever returning to the US.

And they will be so cynical and duplicit about what they are doing. But I don't think it will even get minimal traction...even the very rich, knowing that it is a fake move will be rattled by a groundswell of voter enthusiasm that deatroys the myth of their untouchability.

Interestin tactic by the GQP for 2026 though and it does underscore a high level of panic among the party, even with all of their safe gerrymandered seats.

Maybe they are actually paying some attention to the crowds turning up for Bernie and AOC, even in red states.

No, he's delusional. He's insane. The person he's trying to gaslight is himself. He says these things to reinforce to himself his greatness because, at core, he's a deeply insecure, craven, whining, petty mess. It's also why he requires people to blow sunshine up his ass constantly and is so easy to manipulate with flattery.

There is no strategy here. Just insecurity, an unstable personality, a poorly educated, incurious mind, and a spoiled child.
