Trump this.

Remember when right wing "news" outlets were going on and on about Biden's mental acuity?

Fox covered Trump's public corruption tour live. The Fox hosts make no comments about Trump falling asleep. There were no comments about Trump wondering around looking confused. There were no comments about his incoherent rambling.

Yesterday, Trump was doing a presentation where the heads of defense contractors were discussing the billions of dollars of military equipment that the Trump Administration plans on selling to middle eastern countries. At one point, Trump rambled on for 15 minutes about Pete Buttigieg, Sean Duffy and yes, how he won the 2020 election.

If you don't want to suffer through the entire demented rambling incoherent speech, The Daily Show hits the highlights for you:

The Sean Duffy speech was one of several incoherent rambling speeches Trump has given in Saudia Arabia, UAE and Qatar this week. Here's a full transcript of a different 15 minute rambling speech:

This person is the guy with the nuclear codes:
(10:49)
And within a short period of time, I think we're in great shape. I think we're one of the most, maybe the most talked about. We're not the most talked about country anywhere in the world, but really… And this is in a period, a short period of time. What's the story? Literally 100 days, or more than three months, and let's say the first month doesn't count because for the first months, I wanted to fix up the oval office, make it look really nice.

(11:10)
So, just in a couple of short months we've taken in numbers that nobody ever thought possible. I don't think there's ever been anything like it in any country. And certainly there hasn't been in ours. So we'll be well over $10 trillion, and I want to thank Your Highness, for helping with that number. It's a big contribution. But you know you can count on us, and you know that it's going to be a great investment for you. It's been a great investment over the years.

At the end of the day, I'm not sure that Trump meant any of the words that were written for him to say.

Personally I don't think he cared at the moment of his inauguration that he would never be respected. He only wants to be feared.

He had his eyes on the only prize.

Money and power.

One of my friends who grew up in the Middle East commented to me yesterday that the joke is on Trump. Granted Trump lies and exaggerates everything but the vaunted "deals" are likely to be empty promises. The Sauds do deals only when they benefit or they want something in return. I'm sure all kinds of pleasantries were exchanged and all kinds of big numbers were thrown about but in the end, unless the money actually changed hands, it's all just words from people who make a lot of promises but don't necessarily keep those promises.

Trump fails at everything. Because he is a lousy negotiator and doesn't really care about the deals, only about claiming that he has solved everything.

So threatening one of the most respected and influential rock artists in the US with some kind of vague consequences when he returns to his own country after spending part of your morning composing a tweet
trashing Taylor Swift seems perfectly normal behaviour and what you would expect the president of the united states to be focused on?

Also, commenting on his epidermis seems a little ironic?
