Trump this.

And while everyone is clutching their pearls over his Rob Reiner trashing, Trump has signed an EO marking Fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction.

Thereby paving the way for invading Mexico, Canada, Venezuela...in fact any country TrumpCo. wants to seize.
Interesting. We've talked about this before but fentanyl is used thousands of times per day in hospitals and surgical centers. It is a superior form of pain relief used in surgeries because it is fast-acting and is less likely to trigger nausea and vomiting.

So, Trump just made every anesthesiologist a terrorist administering weapons of mass destruction?

Maybe he should think about the doctors who created a generation of addicts? Doctors who indiscriminately prescribed oxycodone to patients who either didn't need that strong of a medication or were drug-seeking. I didn't see anyone going after the "terrorists" who were operating all those "pill mills" in Florida before the DEA shut them down. In just one example, two brothers who operated several Florida "pain clinics" were estimated to have caused over 3,000 overdose deaths but got just 15 years in prison.

Were the Sacklers not brown enough (or poor enough) to be considered "terrorists"?

In Trump's weird alternate universe, 28,000 people die of snakebite in Peru every year. The truth is that SIX people die of snakebite in Peru.

Trump prattled on for TEN MINUTES about a White House doctor who accompanied the Obama daughters to Peru. While on the trip, the doctor encountered a snake.

The story was full of inaccuracies and was largely just bullshit. If any other 80 year old told had this story, the rest home attendants would have taken him to his room and given him his meds.

During a Christmas address Sunday from the White House, the 79-year-old Trump went on a nearly 10-minute tangent, misrepresenting the memoir Venom and Valor by Dr. James J. Jones, who wrote about being bitten in 2016 by a poisonous snake in the Amazon...

Trump Claims 28,000 Die Yearly from Peru Snakebites — The Real Number Is About Six

Using health-service notifications compiled across the Americas, one peer-reviewed analysis estimated that about 2,150 snakebites per year in Peru were treated in health facilities during 2000–2015, resulting in about 10 deaths per year on average (i.e., fatalities typically in the low double digits).

The more critical aspect is that this is consistent with Trump increasingly being unable to separate fact from fantasy...a sign of dementia. The Snake is another one of his older fixations, a tale he has told many times in his Nuremburg political rallies and likely was emerging at the forefront after Pennsylvania to blend with the story about the Doc in Peru.

As I pointed out, it only took the WH one bizarre and disgusting Trumprant about the Reiners to make the story about his rambling and bizarre remarks at the Christmas event to disappear from the timeline.

Some of the clips that made the news were cropped. Immediately to Trump's left was Melania, making a rare White House appearance, managing to show enough facial expression to make it look like she was really uncomfortable with the incoherent rambling, in spite of all her botox and fillers.

Bring it on Trump. I imagine this is where the lawsuit gets tossed.

The quote that makes the article:
When people would say to me, ‘What do you think of his politics?’ I would say, ‘I think Rob Reiner is a great patriot. Do I agree on many of his ideas on how that patriotism should be enacted, to celebrate the America that we both love? No. He doesn’t agree with me either, but he also respects my patriotism. We had a different path to the same destination, which was a country we both love.”

He added, “Because you disagree with people doesn’t mean that you have to hate people.”

I wouldn't care one whit if Trump's hate consumed him and and all his family and enablers...but I think it has largely succeeded at this point at consuming the country. Seeing it so nakedly on display these days feels like the final wake-up call. That now left unchecked and excused by his apologists, it is just a flip of the switch to see the US embark on a campaign of slaughter and perfomative evil that it can never recover from.

From FB:

"Her tits are kinda small for our family, Donny. Make sure you get something about a boob job in your prenup. And the sooner we to work on her face, the sooner she'll be ready for my 2028 campaign."

Every time we think this...he just comes back even worse. View attachment 3412951
The problem is not him. The problem is the feckless Republicans in Congress who are more interested in their far right conservative Christmas wishlists and Dominionist wet dreams than they interested in having a cognitively competent President.

When wishlists become political bucket lists, then someone might be willing to do something about it.
