not that polls mean anything :rotflmao:

Mango Mussolini wants Republicans in Congress to name things after him. Like an airport.

He wants it so much that he's asked for a copyright on his name, which means that he can ask for licensing fees for the use of his name.

The grift. Always the grift.

On February 13 and 14, President Donald J. Trump’s representatives filed three applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to trademark his name for future use on an airport. As trademark lawyer Josh Gerben of Gerben IP noted, the application also covers merchandise branded “President Donald J. Trump International Airport,” “Donald J. Trump International Airport,” and “DJT,” including “clothing, handbags, luggage, jewelry, watches, and tie clips.”

Because of the trademark filing, Gerben notes, any airport adopting the Trump name would have to get a license to use the name, potentially paying a licensing fee. Gerben emphasizes that while it is common for public officials to have landmarks named after them, “never in the history of the United States” has “a sitting president’s private company…sought trademark rights” before such a naming.

Headline: Washington DC sewage spill

Redundant?

Nearly a month after a wastewater spill into the Potomac River began, recovery efforts are ongoing.

The spillage, which resulted from a section of the Potomac Interceptor sewer line collapsing last month, resulted in an overflow of roughly 243 million gallons of wastewater as of Feb. 6, according to DC Water.

Although public health officials have said the spillage did not impact drinking water quality, residents are still encouraged to avoid contact with the Potomac River.

And of course, you-know-who had to bloviate on the matter, which should be no surprise since he's been in lots of sewers in his soon-to-be 80 years.
President Trump weighed in on the matter in a Truth Social post Monday, blaming local and state Democratic officials in Maryland and saying he would direct federal efforts to assist in the operation.
