I think it is enough that Germany has apologized for the holocaust.

Fact is...the issues between the US and Germany far outweigh your faux outrage over the actions of a mob of men.

Yet you're fine with Trump admitting that he regularly assaulted women because he's a star and he can get away with it, and then he threatens to sue the women who come forward.

Any apology to those women from Trump? don't hold your breath waiting for one. He will never apologise for something that he thinks is expected of him.

You forget, Bush first obtained the consent of Congress, before engaging Iraq, and the democrat leaders agreed that Sadam had weapons of mass destruction, even before GWBush became involved.
 
Right after doing a number on our relationship with the UK with that ridiculous Obama/ UK intelligence wiretap collaboration catastrophe President Trump thoroughly embarrasses the country to the world by his unbelievably classless, disrespectful meeting with Chancellor Merkel today. It was jaw dropping... every time I think he can't possibly go lower, he does.... I dread every day of his sorry tenure and I just don't see how even the GOP House Republicans will long stand with him.

Less than 60 days in...he's done more harm than any president (even those given 8 years to do harm) have done in my lifetime.

I am so, SO nostalgic for George W. Bush right now - yes, even him.
 
Having watched the two of them at the press conference....Trump's performance was cringeworthy, while Merkel looked every inch the senior head of state.

At an often awkward press conference in the East Room, the two leaders politely disagreed on everything from immigration to free trade and the value of seeking multinational agreements. Their comportment could hardly have been more different. Mrs Merkel was every inch the cool, reserved physicist-by-training, at moments giving her American host the icy stare of a Mother Superior told a dirty joke. Mr Trump was dyspeptic, defensive and visibly irritated by press questions about his latest controversial tweets.

Today Trump tweets hilariously that the fake news media misrepresented his meeting with Merkel and they had a great meeting... doubt Chancellor Merkel would put it that way. But the kicker is he says Germany owes vast sums of money to pay us for its fair share of the NATO budget.... essentially accusing our chief European ally outside of the UK of mooching. Coming from a man who has mooched and manipulated for the most part his business empire... way to go, Cheeto Boy...make the Germans mad at us now. You couldn't stop with the UK and the wiretapping nonsense, had to drag the Germans into your web of rot too.
 
^ I read about that, too. The man is totally delusional. And he doesn't have a clue how NATO works. Not a clue.
 

A good meeting. Particularly like the emphasis, from President Trump's side of the table, on training to give Americans better opportunities to reap the benefits of skilled and technical work.
