Despite pleas from parents of transgender children and LGBT employees, the Trump administration is set Tuesday to rescind Obama-era guidance to schools barring discrimination against transgender students and ensuring they have access to the restroom consistent with their gender identity.

Mara Keisling, executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality, told the Washington Blade on Monday she’s heard from “reliable sources” President Trump has green-lighted the plan for the Justice Department and Education Department to send a “Dear Colleague” letter to schools rescinding the guidance.

If the minority of transgenders are allowed to impose themselves upon the much larger group unwilling girls, then the transgenders are "more equal" and superior. But the real question is, who gets to decide, the people through democracy, or a liberal dictator? Allowing biological men to impose themselves in the girls rooms does not eliminate their delima and shame, and puts the girls in danger. The transexuals are not necessarily gay but are often attracted to the girls they want to share showers etc with.

If the trans have the right to impose themselves on unwilling girls, they are legally superior to the girls. Trump has done nothing to take away rights. The transexuals never had the "right" to intrude in the girls rooms, and I certainly do not want that right nor do I want women to have the right to share mens rooms and showers. I doubt if Canadian girls are happy about being required by the government to share their showers etc with men, as you seem to be saying.

No, I do not believe women woild feel comfortable sharing the locker room, shower or rest room with men. That is why the biological men should use the men's room. Women should use the women's room.

All this young man wants to do is wrestle. Because his birth certificate says he is "female" & state law says he must wrestle as a female, he Is following the law. But, parents of a couple of his opponents had their girls forfeit their matches because he's taking testosterone shots which, although required by his medical doctor, give him an advantage over his female opponents. For the life of me, I don't have a workable solution to the problem, because whichever direction a decision is made, this young man will have opponents badgering him.

Do all schools have cubicald for restrooms, locker rooms, and showers so the girls never see each other? If heterosexual men with male genitalia have the right to use women's facilities there will be rapes and women will fear sharing with the men.
