Trump wants to pose immigration tariff on Mexico.

The only ones winning were the TrumpCo. insiders who bought on the fall of the markets and have made out (once again) like bandits because of a manufactured 'crisis' that was used to manipulate the markets. Like the war with Korea. Or the war with Iran. Or tariffs on China. Or tariffs on Canadian and Mexican steel and aluminum.

And yet his Trumplemmings don't see that whole thing is just an inside heist.

And of course, Trump can't stop lying about the 'deal' reached with Mexico...by referring to a non-existent pact whereby Mexico will buy produce from US farmers...which makes no sense at all.

His lips were moving again.

The Bloomberg story has a couple of paragraphs that make it clear that Trump was just makin' shit up again, as the government of Mexico doesn't make agricultural purchases.

Increasing Mexico’s purchases from the U.S. beyond current levels wasn’t discussed during the Washington talks, said the three people with knowledge of the deliberations who weren’t authorized to speak publicly.

Mexico has no state-owned agricultural conglomerate to buy food products or handle distribution, or a government program that could buy farm equipment for delivery to producers.

Well someone in Mexico is authorized to buy farm products from America.
According to the office of the United States Trade Representative, Mexico bought $20 billion in U.S. agricultural goods last year, making it the United States’ second-largest ag export market.

Which is what the articles were saying. The US has a lot of farmland and we export billions in raw grains like corn, wheat and soybeans to both Mexico and Canada. It's Mexican companies that convert those grains to commercial products for sale in Mexico, not the Mexican government.

Trump was threatening to put tariffs on things that Americans import from Mexico - like auto parts - which just raises the price for American consumers and for American companies that use those parts.

Trump's tweet makes some absurd claim that there was some big agricultural deal in the USMCA negotiations. There's no such thing anywhere in the agreement. Then Trump made a claim that it was "behind the scenes". He's lying. The Mexican government says there is no such agreement.

Trump claims undisclosed component to US-Mexico migrant deal, Mexico contradicts him [ABC]
But Mexico's Foreign Affairs Minister Marcelo Ebrard on Monday said there were no undisclosed parts of the U.S.- Mexico deal.

"Outside of what I have just explained, there is no agreement," Ebrard said at a morning press conference. "It is an immigration agreement, not a commercial one."...

The Mexicans were also hesitant about the president's claim that Mexico agreed to a significant increase in Mexican agricultural purchases.

"I want to be quite clear - there is no agreement of any kind that has not been made known," Ebrard said on Monday. "We do not have a specific agreement on products."

The White House and USDA did not respond to a request for comment, however a senior administration official told ABC News there was a "verbal" agreement, although no specifics were discussed.

Some critics said the deal was nothing more than a way for the president to save face after threatening unpopular tariffs against Mexico.

This article sums it up nicely:
Donald Trump lies more often than you wash your hands every day [CNN]

Trevor Noah summarized it nicely:

^ Not available here and youpak.com doesn't work anymore. All attempts come up as corrupt. It's been like that for weeks. Anyone else having that problem?

More lies. At least he found a piece of paper with print on it instead of a blank sheet of paper. He's still lying, though:

^ Is it just me or does anyone else feel the need to take a long, hot shower after listening to the crap that comes out of that guy's mouth?

Absolutely not just you. He almost has me nostalgic for W... not that he was close to remotely a good president, but he didn't suck the wind out of everything, every day. Trump is so tiresome, so beneath the dignity of the office it's painful to contemplate he will not leave office until January 20, 2021. ANOTHER year and a half... and I just don't think the nation could take somehow he winning in 2020 and extending his nightmare of a presidency to 2025.

^ I have a question. During the election, Trump said that he would not accept a Clinton win. What can happen if he loses the election next year and refuses to accept it?

More Trump sensationalism.

The document that Trump waved at reporters laid out “a regional approach to burden-sharing in relation to the processing of refugee status claims to migrants”; talked of “45 days”; and said Mexico had committed to immediately examine its laws and rules to enable it to implement such an agreement.

Donald Trump shows off 'secret' Mexico document but photos reveal contents (The Guardian; June 9, 2019)

More Trump sensationalism.

Apparently, a WaPo reporter got a snapshot of the "Agreement" piece of paper in spite of Trump's attempt to conceal the contents. According to the paragraph they were able to read, the Press did determine that it was just a letter saying that both sides would revisit the discussions in 45 days. It had little to do with Trumps agricultural claims or with anything mentioned Trump's concurrent, incoherent ramblings. It's just the distraction of the day to take the focus off of the criminal investigations going on in the House.

So we are being told by economists that it is the American consumer who winds up paying for the economic tariffs that the administration has been imposing. Now Trump is announcing a non-economic tariff! He is wants to impose a 5% tariff on all Mexican goods until they stop South American immigrants from travelling to the US. Gradually increasing the tariff if they fail to comply. Is this essentially an immigration tax on the American People?

Trump announces tariffs on Mexico over immigration
Trump still does not know who is paying the 5%. He is one of the stupidest people on this earth.

Hopefully soldiers storm the White House and shoot his ass dead.
