The US Supreme Courrtt has unanimously ruled that the government MUST return Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the US, wrongfully and illegally departed to El Salvador.

The case is remanded to the Maryland District Court.

It's inaccurate to describe Chief Justice Roberts as a stooge for the administration. He may be no liberal, but it doesn't follow that he doesn't stand up to abuses of the Trump government. He went out of his way to condemn Trump's rhetoric about impeaching judges, and he has not ruled blindly in Trump's favor.

which makes me wonder how they will murder him before he is ever back on US soil.

Meanwhile, Trump is crowing about his meeting with Bukele and saying that El Salvador now has sole jurisdiction over the prisoners.

All the corruption in play finally makes the bloodthirsty purges of competing clans in Rome make sense. And in the Mafioso. And in England's wars with rival royals.

It's really hard to imagine a future in which Trump's family and co-conspirators are not purged or punished to take away what they have illegally obtained through pay-to-play access to Trump, through pump and dump insider trading, through foreign bribery, through usurpation of Congressional authority, treasonous conspiracy with enemy states, and on and on.

I worry that, like Juan Peron, they make take the US Treasury witth them in exile.

In the end, the French Revolution may look less bloody, else we'll be under the rule of the oligarchs for many decades.

Now that President Bukele has publicly refused to return Garcia, the U.S. courts should immediately order that ALL deportations without legal hearings should stop if the administration is helpless (allegedly) to return wrongfully deported men.

Of course, Bukele was coached by our administration to refuse, but if his words are taken at face value by the courts, then ban all deportations since proven injustice cannot be reversed. The administration is merely demonstrating its invulnerability to Constitutional judicial review.

The ACLU should seek an immediate injunction.

Imagine. We extracted a prison from Russia, our enemy, but not from an ally. No one believes this shit.
