Trump's Mass Deportation Plans

It was inevitable.

Reality is never as perfectly scripted as 'Reality' shows.

And of course it doesn't take long for the celebs to get bored and bug out when they see that their numbers aren't that good.

Seems like this is turning out to be an incredibly expensive exercise with little return on investment.

It has been noted on Bluesky that over 100 ICE agents spent 5 hrs in Chicago last week, arresting only 2.

In Denver & Aurora, CO, over 400 agents were dispatched for migrant violence linked to Tren de Aragua. After knocking on hundreds of doors, only 1 member was arrested.

(NYP, ABC News)

^ and they are currently releasing a lot that they arrest because they have nowhere to house them.

They really didn't think this through....

And now the 'shock and awe' phase is a total dud and interest will dwindle to zero except on the far right wing local news outlets.

Oh Elon. How fucking obvious.

So the Importation plan for white immigrants appears to be a bit of bust.

Afrikaner groups are telling Trump they won’t budge.

“We are committed to building a future here," said Afrikaner trade union Solidarity. "We are not going anywhere."

Also, the CEO of the Afrikaner group AfriForum said: "We have to state categorically: We don't want to move elsewhere."

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said Tuesday that in the first two weeks of President Donald Trump's second term, nearly 5,700 illegal immigrants had been deported.

If the new administration continues at that clip, one expert told Newsweek, then it would be on track to deport half the number of migrants removed during former President Joe Biden's last full fiscal year in 2024.

Perhaps the mass deportations aren't going as smoothly as they were under the previous information, but hey...they got Dr. Phil as a ride-along.

When the press talks about the "deportations", they need to also talk about how each flight is costing American taxpayers between $250,000 to $850,000. Before, when DHS was using small chartered jets, the cost was about $2,500 per flight.

Remember Trump's little pissing match with Guatemala? 10 hours at $28,500 = $285,000 to transport 64 people to Guatemala. They claim they want to deport between 3 to 20 million people- do the math.

A U.S. official, speaking to Reuters on condition of anonymity, estimated the cost to operate a C-17 military transport aircraft is $28,500 per hour. The flight back and forth to Guatemala, not including time on the ground or any operations to prepare the flight for takeoff, took about 10-1/2 hours in the air to complete, the official said.

They're so expensive, that the White House is having to pull funds from the TSA;
ICE was facing a $230 million budget shortfall even before Trump took office and ramped up deportations, when it averaged around 282 arrests per day. On Sunday, ICE arrested more than 1,200 people, according to a senior DHS official, and senior leaders at ICE have been told the agency must continue to arrest 1,200 to 1,500 people per day.

A former and a current DHS official told NBC News that during the Biden administration the average cost to ICE to deport a single person was about $10,500, starting with the arrest through the person’s time in detention and onto a flight back to the person’s home country.

A comparison- the typical Pell Grant for college tuition is $4,300. Even at Biden's cheaper $10,500 cost, we could be paying college tuition for two American citizens.

This is more like it. This is the kind of chaotic mess we've been expecting from the US in the great deportation

Just load up a plane...Drop them anywhere...even if they have zero relationship to that country.

Well done Panama. Trump is still going to seize your canal. No matter how you bend the knee.

Hmmm... so there was a big migrant refugee camp in Panama. USAID was managing that camp and feeding all of the refugees there. Hopefully, that's just a coincidence.

One assumes that TrumpCo. has made a side deal to run the camp after killing USAID.

Otherwise, eventually, these camps of extraordinary rendition, whether in the Bay of Pigs or other backwaters will decide it isn't feasible to feed and care for the people in the concentration camps.

Uh excuse me. Asking for a friend.

Why does it take 7 (very expensive) military flights to move 98 people offshore to the Guantanamo Concentration camp?

You can tell your friend that it is for the same reason that a fading movie star will leave her Toyota at home and borrow money to hire a Rolls Royce to take her to a gala evening. It's all about impressing the fans. That's show business, baby.

What is wrong with this picture? Not that a heavy transport plane is been taken away from it's defence duty to perform a photo op, if that's how the taxpayers prefer their dollars to be wasted.
It is that these men, who have commited no crime, are being herded onto this plane, which costs more than Concorde to run, in leg chains.
Leg chains.
Just as if we have never moved on from the days of slavery.

If you want to really get the full, unsavory picture, read the press reports about the hotels in Panama that they are imprisoning these people in until they finish the concentration camps in the Panama jungle. US taxpayers are paying up to $200,000 per military transport and then we're paying again to store people in Panamanian hotels and camps. It's millions of dollars.

Most of the immigrants in Panama aren't criminals. They are asylum seekers or people who stayed in the US illegally, which is a civil offense, not a criminal offense.

And then there's Guantanamo...

Why? Because if they keep them on US soil, they're entitled to attorneys.

Look at all the fearful women and children and families being deported back to Venezuela! They are so scared to be back home. This is why they were claiming asylum in the USA.

Well. Colour me unsurprised.

An ICE prosecutor runs a white supremacist page on Xitter?

He'll probably get a raise now.

This could be in the Deplorables thread because they both are...but nice to see one raining shit on the other over deportation numbers.

Some of them look hot. I wouldn't deport them, I'd invite them round for a good time.
Most of them in that video are convicts or gang members, so you might want to hide your valuables when you invite them over.
