Trump's Mass Deportation Plans

WTF? Closing the airspace over far West Texas and southern New Mexico for 10 days... including Medi-vac flights? Deadly force?

It may be more hilarious than that.

They can't get their story straight. That's always a sign that they're lying and covering something up.

According to press sources, the FAA shutdown the airspace over some sort of conflict with DoD. Something about drones and lasers and threats to shoot down airplanes.

The White House is claiming that they were doing border interdictions involving "drug cartels".... in far West Texas and southern New Mexico. And that the drug cartels were flying drones across the Mexico border into the US. This is the lie.

The FAA sources said they didn't know the reason and they were just following orders.

The unnamed sources have leaked that the military was doing something with DoD drones and they were some sort of drills using lasers to shoot down test balloons. This freaked out the FAA enough that they shut down the airspace without asking the White House first. By the time they figured out whose dick was bigger (hint: it was the FAA), the airlines had started canceling flights and contacting passengers offering refunds or rebookings.

No word yet on whether the space lasers were Christian, Muslim or Jewish.

they're getting slammed for not being able to get their story's streight :rotflmao:

And we're getting closer to the truth.

ICE and Border Patrol "borrowed" some military weapons from the D0D. Weapons that shoot lasers into the sky. The geniuses in the Border Patrol thought they were shooting a Mexican cartel drone. It was a mylar birthday party balloon. This caused a shutdown of the airspace.

CBP shot down party balloons with anti-drone tech before FAA closed El Paso airspace, sources say
The airspace was suddenly closed after CBP officials didn't coordinate with FAA officials, four people familiar with the matter said.

The sudden closure of El Paso's airspace Wednesday came sometime after U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials used an anti-drone laser that was provided by the military to shoot down objects that were later identified as party balloons, four people familiar with the matter said.

We now have two militaries: one that fights foreign battles and another that fights Americans... and shoots down party balloons to make us safer.

By coincidence, there was a scheduled hearing with the NTSB over the incident last year where a military helicopter collided with an American Airlines jet over the Potomac, killing everyone on the jet and on the helicopter. The NTSB expert went off on how multiple government agencies are unable to communicate and that is putting commercial air travelers at risk.

I said the story would be more hilarious.

It shows the level of dysfunction within the departments.

And an almost rrrZZZian level of ineptitude.

Lying is normalized in the Trump Administration.

DHS and DOJ tried to charge two men, Alfredo Alejandro Aljorna and Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis, who were attacked by ICE agents. The ICE agents shot one of the men. ICE Barbie made statements that the men who were arrested had attacked the ICE officers.

The ICE agents lied. The charges against Aljorna and Sosa-Celis have been dropped.

DOJ drops charges against 2 men accused of assaulting ICE officers in Minneapolis, citing new evidence "inconsistent" with complaint

Federal charges have been dropped against two men who had been charged with assaulting Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in Minneapolis last month, including one Venezuelan defendant who was shot in the leg by an officer. The Justice Department's motion cited "newly discovered evidence" that was "materially inconsistent" with the allegations against them.

The filing, entered Thursday by U.S. Attorney in Minnesota Daniel Rosen, moved to dismiss the charges against the men with prejudice, meaning the charges cannot be reintroduced. On Friday, a judge granted the request.

Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons said Friday that two officers have been placed on administrative leave after a review of video evidence indicated they provided "untruthful statements" in their sworn testimony.

It is reflexive and indicative of the contempt the authoritarian TrumpCo. cabal have for not only the truth, but the US Americans generally.

You only lie like this when you are certain you will have total control over the entire government.

But as each one of these events turns into another expose of TrumpCo. lies...eventually there had better be a reckoning in the courts.

...DHS and DOJ tried to charge two men, Alfredo Alejandro Aljorna and Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis, who were attacked by ICE agents. The ICE agents shot one of the men. ICE Barbie made statements that the men who were arrested had attacked the ICE officers.

The ICE agents lied. The charges against Aljorna and Sosa-Celis have been dropped.
New details are being leaked.

The agents claimed that both men were in a car that they stopped. They claimed that both men fled and beat the ICE agents with a broomstick and a shovel.

Sosa-Celis may not have been in the vehicle that the ICE agents claimed that they stopped. Mr Sosa-Celis and his family said that he lived at a nearby apartment complex and had been shoveling snow outdoors. Mr Sosa-Celis saw Mr Aljorna running with the agents following him. Mr Sosa-Celis dropped the ice shovel and ran to his apartment. Agents shot him in the leg when his family attempted to close the door behind him.

Rumor has it that Mr Sosa-Celis' family, including his children, were in the apartment. The agents fired tear gas into the apartment try to force the men out of the apartment. 🤦‍♂️

To cover up their overreach and harassment, the ICE agents lied.

Attorney Robin Wolpert, representing Sosa-Celis, said he had been holding a shovel but was retreating into the home when the officer fired, wounding him. The men's attorneys said the prosecution's case relied wholly on testimony from the agent who fired the gun.

Neither Aljorna and Sosa-Celis had violent criminal records. Both had been working as DoorDash delivery drivers at night in an attempt to avoid encounters with federal agents, their attorneys said.

Aljorna and Sosa-Celis retreated into their upstairs apartment and barricaded the door, so federal officers used tear gas to try to force the men out, the FBI agent said. Concerned about the safety of two children under 2 inside the home, Aljorna and Sosa-Celis surrendered.

A third Venezuelan man, Gabriel Alejandro Hernandez Ledezma, who lived in the apartment downstairs was also arrested.

And of course, there will be no charges.

$40 Billion for more concentration camps in the works.

Just. Like. Hitler.

“By the end of his first year, [Adolf] Hitler had around 50,000 people held in his roughly 70 concentration camps, facilities that were often improvised in factories, prisons, castles, and other buildings,” wrote Hartmann. “By comparison, today ICE is holding over 70,000 people in 225 concentration camps across America,” with hopes to “more than double both numbers in the coming months.”

“Germany’s concentration camps didn’t start as instruments of mass murder, and neither have ours; both started as facilities for people the government’s leader said were a problem. And that’s exactly what ICE is building now,” he continued. “History isn’t whispering its warning: It’s shouting.”

History is shouting, but people are not listening. Worse, they're denying the facts and rejecting the reality.
Are they planning to build the gas chambers and ovens [or whatever similar method their evil minds come up with] near them?

Deportation, but let's torture and traumatize a bunch children during the process.

Dilley is a small town in south Texas, on I-35 about halfway between Laredo and San Antonio. The population is a little over 3,000. It is also the home of a massive "processing camp" operated by DHS that houses over 3,500 people, about half of whom are children. When the concentration camp was announced to the press, it was estimated to have a capacity of about 2,400 people.

Dilley has come into national focus when it was discovered that the people that ICE has been picking up in Minnesota were transported 1,300 miles to Dilley. And because it's Texas, Dilley has had two cases of measles at the facility.

Sadly, these stories aren’t outliers—they are more common than we’d like to admit. ProPublica reported this week that 3,500 detainees have been at Dilley since it reopened, and more than half of them have been minors. And while a legal settlement in effect since 1997 holds that children can be held in immigration detention for a maximum of twenty days, ProPublica determined that more than 300 kids have been at Dilley for longer than a month...

A FORMER DILLEY EMPLOYEE who served in the U.S. armed forces spoke to me—on condition of anonymity—about what they witnessed inside the facility. They said they took the job because it paid the most in the area, and they had been led to believe there were only women in the facility. They soon realized the unsettling truth: Not just women but entire families were detained inside, including children and even newborn babies. This former employee struggled daily with what they saw, being politically opposed to ICE and what the Trump administration is doing, but rationalized their involvement as a way to help those in detention—to counterbalance the fact that almost everyone else who works there “is for Trump, is for ICE.”

Of the food, which has been described as overly seasoned and “nasty,” the former Dilley employee explained that one day detainees receive chicken, another day beef, and every few days, they get hot dogs.

NIMBY.

Hutchins, Texas pop 5,607 doesn't want an ICE facility in an empty warehouse in their city. The facility was estimated to hold over 9,000 immigrants which would be nearly double the population of the town.

And, to no one's surprise, the Administration continues to trawl the decent, hard-working immigrants, not criminals.

They want to detain them indefinitely even after they were given legal right to stay as refugees under appeal, while investigated.

Guess what? The same courts overloaded with cases that take years will now take even more years with the ton of immigrants being incarcerated.

It looks like we're not through taking to the streets.

I remain convinced we will need violent revolution to end this cult.

The US needs elections that count to end this cult.

Allowing the House to gerrymander the maps to ensure an almost guaranteed 50/50 result and retaining the electoral college is what has allowed the cult to thrive.

Not overturning Citizens United in Congress has allowed the billionaires to create an oligarchy where they own all branches of government.

A violent revolution will likely only result in a full police state.

I would say though, that when, not if, an attempt is made by the Executive Branch and Congress to suspend elections this year...or to contest the results in order to destroy Congress, then it is time for US citizens to overturn the government by any means necessary.

The "culture of life" crowd...

Judges decry treatment of nursing and pregnant detainees in ICE custody

The agency has declined to say whether a Biden-era policy largely barring detention for pregnant and nursing mothers remains in force.

A Myanmar refugee, with a nursing five-month-old at home, whisked abruptly to Texas by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. A Massachusetts woman in her third trimester, held under ICE’s guard at a hospital after experiencing medical distress in ICE detention. An Indian national who is three months pregnant and whose weight dropped to 90 pounds while in an ICE facility.

Federal judges are sounding alarms about the Trump administration’s treatment of pregnant and nursing detainees in ICE custody — and the administration has given the courts conflicting, unclear answers about whether it is following its own policies that sharply restrict those detentions.

Imprisoning and deporting 2 year olds who are sick with bronchitis.

Outrage after 2-month-old and mother ‘abandoned’ by ICE after he was hospitalized

Juan Nicolas was the youngest detainee inside controversial Dilley detention center

A two-month-old boy with bronchitis was deported to Mexico with his mother and sister shortly after he was released from a hospital in Texas, where the family was detained inside a facility holding a growing number of immigrant families.

Juan Nicolas, who was the youngest person detained inside the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, was “rushed” to a hospital Monday night after roughly three weeks at the facility, according to Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro. Juan was “unresponsive” while hospitalized but was discharged hours after he arrived, the congressman said.

On Tuesday night, after an immigration court judge ordered the mother’s removal, the family was deported to Mexico and “abandoned” with only $190 they saved in a commissary account in ICE detention, according to Castro.

I don't always agree with the Roman Catholic Church but at least they are consistent on the threatment of the lesser among us.

US bishops warn ICE mega-detention plan is 'moral inflection point' for America
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has issued a stark critique of the Trump administration's announcement that it plans to double its federal immigration detention capacity.

“The thought of holding thousands of families in massive warehouses should challenge the conscience of every American. Whatever their immigration status, these are human beings created in the image and likeness of God, and this is a moral inflection point for our country. We implore the Administration and Congress to lead with right reason, abandon this misuse of taxpayer funds, and to instead pursue a more just approach to immigration enforcement that truly respects human dignity, the sanctity of families, and religious liberty.”

Newly released details show how the Administration plans to double federal immigration detention capacity, spending an estimated $38.3 billion from last year’s reconciliation bill to implement a new detention model by the end of Fiscal Year 2026.

While the media was obsessing over snow on the east coast, kids getting a snow day and mayor Mamdani's press conferences, an ICE whistleblower was confirming what we all suspected: ICE agents are being told that they don't have to follow the law or the Constitution.

ICE whistleblower accuses agency of ‘deficient, defective and broken’ training amid hiring surge

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) whistleblower accused the agency of lying about shortchanging its training, including legal training over whether they are permitted to use deadly force, amid a hiring surge of new officers.

Ryan Schwank, a former lawyer for ICE, said training for new officers has been pared down to the point where it is “deficient, defective and broken” during a forum organized by congressional Democrats about “constitutional violations and abuses” within ICE policies. He accused ICE leaders of shielding training shortcuts from the public.

Schwank countered administration claims that it has maintained training standards even as it has condensed some aspects of its program.

“For the last five months, I watched ICE dismantle the training program, cutting 240 hours of vital classes from a 584 hour program, classes that teach the Constitution, our legal system, firearms training, the use of force, lawful arrests, proper detention and the limits of officers’ authority,” said Schwank, who recently trained cadets at the ICE academy in Georgia.

“They ceased all of the legal instructions regarding use of force. This means that cadets are not taught what it means to be objectively reasonable, the very standard which the law requires them to meet when deciding whether or not to use deadly force. Our jobs as instructors are to teach them so well that they can make split second decisions about what they can and cannot do in life or death situations,” he added.

“Yet, in the name of churning out an endless stream of officers, DHS leadership has dismantled the academic and practical tests that we need to know if cadets can safely and lawfully perform their job, all to satisfy an administration demanding they train thousands of new officers before the end of the year.”

DHS and GSA don't seem to understand why you can't turn an Amazon warehouse into a concentration camp.

Georgia town says it lacks water and sewer capacity for ICE’s proposed mass detention site

Detainee housing could begin in April.

The town of Social Circle, Georgia has 5,000 people. DHS has submitted plans for a concentration camp to house up to 9,000 people. The town of Social Circle doesn't have water or sewage capacity to handle 14,000 people.

DHS responded that they did a study of the local sewage treatment facility and that it had the needed capacity. The city of Social Circle pointed out that the sewage treatment facility is not connected to their wastewater system and is in a different county. 🤦‍♂️

City of Social Circle Questions DHS Plan for Massive ICE Detention Center

Under the proposal, approximately 300 ICE facilities nationwide would be consolidated into 34 larger centers. The Social Circle site is expected to house between 7,500 and 10,000 detainees and employ an estimated 2,000 to 2,500 staff members. According to documents provided to the City, the facility would include holding areas, courtrooms, recreational spaces, cafeterias, laundry facilities, on-site health services and a gun range...

The City’s primary concerns center on water and sewer infrastructure. According to the statement, DHS referenced a wastewater analysis indicating available capacity, including capacity attributed to the A. Scott Emmons Treatment Facility. City officials emphasized that the Emmons facility is not owned by Social Circle, is located outside city limits in a different county and does not connect to the City’s utility system.

The remaining capacity cited in the analysis relates to a planned sewer treatment plant that has not yet been constructed. That facility, funded through a $65 million bond allocation, is designed to handle 1.5 million gallons per day initially, with future expansion to 3 million gallons per day as the City grows. Construction is expected to take between 12 and 18 months.

DHS documents indicate the proposed detention center alone would generate an estimated sewage demand of 1,001,683 gallons per day. By comparison, Social Circle’s current wastewater system processes approximately 660,000 gallons daily and is already operating at capacity, according to the City.

The entire ICE concentration camp debacle is a fraud, designed to funnel billions of dollars to donor corporations with kickbacks to TrumpCo.

Eventually, the scam will fall apart as reckless planning decisions mean that facilities like the one above can never hold the numbers they are intended to house.
