Although the media has a duty to report Trump’s idiotic tweets, it has no duty to legitimize and normalize the vile and vulgar stupidity of this beady-eyed cockolorum with endless discussions of them by political pundits. If his impulsive utterances were simply published under the heading of ‘’Trump’s Tweets of the Day,’’ and then ignored, this dangerous egomaniac would be devastated. The media has plenty to report on what is being done and need not be repeatedly duped and punked by what lies the sleaze-in-chief or his retinue of sycophants tell.

I really think his obsessive Tweeting will be his downfall. He's deleted a lot of them in hindsight, but someone is always faster on the 'screen cap'.

As Judge Milian is fond of saying, "Say it, forget it. Write it, regret it."

..and THIS is the problem...they helped him get elected. I hate to see what else they are gonna help him do.....

It is painful for me to watch them legitimize him so once again..the mainstream news is OFF....

The is a new app for those who invest in the market---if he mentions a certain company you have invested in---and it's something negative---you get a notice so you can decide if you sell or not----he's made statements which have destabilized the market and people have lost money---being mentally ill----he just pulls stuff out of his ass and will continue to do so. We are stuck with this fool ......even if he lost by 3 millon votes poplar vote.png

This article among others points out the problem of the media (and the whole world) paying attention only to whatever comes into Trump's head when he sits down to take a shit.

But in a world where this is the only 'communication', I don't see the situation changing much until the viewers and voters simply get bored with Trump's 140 character tirades.

^ From the article:

Writer John Deen claimed in Newsweek that with the exception of a few outspoken commentators, the "gutless" American press is "standing idly by to watch Trump destroy the country so they can report the fall of America”.

Donald Trump will soon discover that there are no tweet-sized solutions to the challenges that he will soon face.

Winston Churchill’s famous words may yet prove prescient:
Americans can always be counted on to do the right thing, but only after they have exhausted all other possibilities.

Barack Obama's administrations may yet prove to be a period that Americans can look back at with nostalgia, with steadily rising levels of employment; no major war...and OBL was relieved of his life.

By the time all's said and done, even Benvolio may look back on Obama with nostalgia...he continues to remain unconvinced about how horrific things could get. (I agree with eastofeden in so many ways...)

Trump's Tweet about Meryl Streep's speech on the Golden Globes has inspired these comments made a New York University professor of history and public service, Timothy Naftali. Trump is showing more and more of himself with every Tweet, and it's clear that he is more obsessed with Twitter than he is with being president.

Scary stuff. What's even scarier is that he doesn't even have the brains to realise what he's doing to himself:

For better or worse, the president-elect's social media feed is offering a daily glimpse into the interests, insecurities and insults that weigh on the next leader of the free world.

Many presidents have privately bristled at the attacks, criticism and mockery the office can bring. They've fumed behind the walls of the Oval Office and complained about slights to their aides and wives. But Trump's use of Twitter is giving Americans and the world something they've never seen before.

"This is unprecedented access to the president. The presidency usually has a firewall," said Timothy Naftali, a professor of history and public service at New York University. "By using Twitter, Mr. Trump has decided to remove the filter that has served so many of his predecessors so well."

^ His desire to let everyone know what is going through his mind as he's taking a shit only exposes him more and more as the small minded, not too smart, cry-baby that more than half the country has always thought him to be.

Can Twitter be hacked? Could someone hack into Trump's account and completely destroy him?

They don't need to. He will do it all on his own.

He tweeted up a storm of protest this morning. The news about his Russian connections is not verified, but who cares.
