Tuning Forks and my apparent naivety

A friend invited me to go with him to the Halsted Market Days in Chicago a few weeks ago. In one of the booths, there was a guy with a glass counter filled with different, and what I assumed to be, sex toys. There were vibrators, various assortments of leather goods, some rather maniacal looking dentist-like tools (that scared me), and then to my utter surprise -- a set of tuning forks.

It didn't really strike me at the moment so I didn't ask the guy (who seemed rather helpful and informative to other patrons visiting his booth), but on the way home I couldn't stop thinking about it. "How are those used?" I asked my friend and his partner, but they weren't sure either. It was too late to go back and ask the guy, which I surely would have done if I lived in downtown Chicago. But maybe it's just my naivety.

I'm so incredibly curious as to what possible use there is for tuning forks during sex or foreplay or what. I know I shouldn't be so obsessed with this, but it's driving my crazy because I can't think of a use for them Does anyone know how these tuning forks can possibly be used for something sexual?

My best guess is that they would use the tuning forks for some variant of sonopuncture. For those that don't know:

Sonopuncture is a stimulation of the body similar to acupuncture, carried out by using a narrow, cylindrical high frequency beam of sound instead of needles. Most effective are high frequency sound waves of 750 to 1,000 kHz.[1]

I did some more digging and found this.

Apparently, they're awfully exited it comes in a case, but alas, the answer is found So apparently, they're held against a dilator when it's "in use"? That makes sense then.
