he's 24.. but i didn't first see his movies 'til a couple years after they came out, so about 8 yrs ago..

When I travel away from home, I'm told I have a bit of a southern drawl since most of my family is originally from the deep south. It was much thicker when I was a kid. I sounded like most of my aunts and uncles still do.

The educational system has tried to iron it out and if I concentrate I can eliminate most of it. Sometimes people here in the US equate a drawl with stupidity. So when I need to be taken seriously, I pay more attention. OTOH, when I'm relaxed, tired, or had too much to drink, my childhood accent starts to come back out.

Believe it or not. I actually play a pretty mean game of Chess. And the next time I say, "Checkmate!" I'll be sure to bust out my best drawl for Mr. Foxworthy.

Thought of starting a thread on accents, then I found this old one lying around.
Let's see if it still has some life in it.

In Dutch (my native language) I lóve a German accent. The Germans make my language sound so soft.

French accents are good in any language I guess.

In English there are a few accents that sound really nice, but for me there's óne accent that never fails to "deliver" shall we call it :
South African, and then the version of "English spoken by an Afrikaander"
Holy smokes!
All a guy with an accent like thát has to do is whisper a few words in my ear, and I'm all his.

Go to this thread, and you can hear many of us JUBbers. You will probably have to get to page 3 at least before you find links that work for the voices, but last time I checked, there were quite a few valid ones.

There was another thread on accents that I remember, and it had a similar link to accents on line, but none of the on line accents are as pronounced as the one on the link I posted here.

British accents either make me laugh or remind me of an old school teacher. I guess I haven't been around them enough to find one that was sexy. I've only had one English boyfriend (in Vancouver), and his accent did nothing for me, but we were together for most of the six weeks that I spent there. I was more turned on by the fact that he was a sailor and piloted a tugboat.

Most Texas accents make me laugh also, even though I grew up there, but if a hot guy in a cowboy hat asks me if there is anything he can do for me in a Texas drawl, my imagination runs wild. I find a drawl to have a comforting effect on me - I am disturbed by harsh accents, especially the Midwestern twang in Iowa and neighboring states.

The tone of the voice affect me more than the accent - I like deep, low voices. High pitched ones are a bit of a turn-off, but I guess that's what gags were invented for.

i love Boston thick accents.. fucking hot to me, make me hard... try to find Boston dudes to talk to me and do fone sometimes... anyone out there would like to talk to me sometime hit me with a pm lol

C.T. of Real World "fame"...his Boston accent is what initially attracted me to him i think. "Most Smartest Model" Andre's Russian accent is pretty hot. i think New Yawkers are the hottest though...Eddie Cahill anyone?
