I tend to be an optimist...so this is going to be a good year.

I seriously doubt we will see much in the way of economic recovery for a bit. There are still far too many people who don't have jobs. That means less income and less state and federal revenue (less income tax and less sales tax as people still can't afford to shop like they used to). We may be on our way to stabilizing, but recovery is still up the road a piece.
 
'A good year', because this year I'm going to try and be positive about things.
 
I've been accused of being an optimist, but I really do (as objectively as possible) think that 2010 is gong to be a great start to a new decade! I think we may be surprised at just how fast all the dominoes are going to be falling into place. Let's just hope it's in time for the mid-term elections!

Will we be completely out of the hole by the end of the year? No. But, I think we will have made a good, steady, climb up! ..|

Yup. That's the main thing that's bringing everyone down. When the economy gets going again, everything else will fall into place.

Better, but anything would be better than 2009. Good? Not at all. Not good at all, but better. I will take whatever I can. We all should. Things are fragile.

With the last couple of days I've had, I predict it is going to be an AMAZING year...
 
Hopefully a year of transition.Never going to get rid of all my insecurities and self doubt but a lot of people don't either...they just accept and embrace who they are,the best of oneself bettering the worst instincts and patterns over time.Not taking things to heart all the time,taking things too seriously.Being negative to the point of turning off people...I'm not all to blame but my meltdowns certainly did not help matters.I'm not getting any younger,don't want to have deep regrets,pain,and bitterness over things I failed to do in my life out of ignorance,emotional immaturity and misplaced pride as my forties flies into my fifties.Finally,have lots of time for humor and enjoyment of the little things because the positivity sparked in one's outlook goes a long wayin reinforcing confidence and inner strength to handle the inevitable rough patches.
