I just finished watching a movie made in Toronto I believe. It is loosely based on Dickens Oliver Twist. I got it because it had Nick Stahl HBO,s Carnivale in it. Strange movie. It's one of those that leaves you in that odd place you can't quite put your finger on. Unfortunately Nick doesn't even get past long underware as for any nudity. Of course it was made in the fall of the year. Everytime they were outside you could see their breath. I liked the guy that played the Fagin character. I believe his name is Gary Farmer. My main problem was all I could remember from Oliver Twist is the musical Oliver. No bubbly cheery music here though. This is the other end of the spectrum. Long droning synth sounds for continual tension. Had some good songs also. All and all I felt it was a decent movie. However I wouldn't reccomend it if you were feeling kinda' blue.
