I presume you're referring to Obama: I've now seen clips of him on three separate occasions explicitly condemning and rejecting Wright's inflammatory, racist remarks.

I guess it depends on what you mean by explicit. I mean a direct and unequivocal rejection of the PARTICULAR assertions of Wright, not a general :"Have I heard controversial remarks, yes." To me, all Obama has done up to now is talk eloquently and evasively. Before I could ever even begin to consider him for a vote, I want to know that he rejects assertions like the white creation of the AIDS virus as a means of genocide against blacks. After all, he has sat in that church for 20 years, must have heard garbage such as Wright spouts with considerable frequency, or heard of it from other parishoners. And he is by his own comments very close to Wright, sees him as a friend an mentor. So likening him to "an old ulncle" who "sometimes says things you don't agree with, simply doesn't cut it. Seeing him as a presumtive equivalent to his white grandmother who has been frightened to pass blacks on the sidewalk is another patent absurdity. Look, if it doesn't bother you, be my guest, but it bothers me a lot. I despise racism in whatever color it comes, and so should anyone aspiring to the Presidency and be EXPLICITY CLEAR ABOUT IT. Obama seems to to be arguing you should Nnot mind black racism becauwse it's somehow "understandable." This is not a post-racial view point, it just Al Sharpton with smarts.
