Tyra Banks. A sadistic bully?

Her self-idolization grows worse every season. I know she already believes she's the most beautiful woman on Earth but how long will it be before she proclaims herself a goddess?

That is the funniest fucking thing I've ever seen. Ever.

I think she's overly self-important. Season One where she was criticizing Elyse, it was so funny seeing her trying to 'show how smart as Elyse' she is and saying that she can come off 'derogatory'. If I was Elyse, I would have been laughing my ass off at how that was so not the right word to use.

She's not really a bully. She's said many times before that she's really preparing the girls for the real modelling world. Top Model is nothing compared to the brutal comments & harsh realities of the real modelling business.

By the way, Tiffany did deserve to get yelled at that cycle. She easily could've been in the finals but for some reason she decided to give up on herself when every girl in that competition, including the judges, wanted so much for her to win. She was being really ungrateful for the opportunity.

Anyway, Tyra is the shit and Top Model is the best.....

P.S. I will never get tired of her "Well, when I was an 18 year old modelling in Paris....." stories LOL

If anyone is in the LA area, if you listen to Kevin and Bean on KROQ, you know that they openly mock Tyra. They actually spoke with someone over the phone who went to high school with Tyra, and she instigated all sorts of fights, called girls names, etc.

And I wouldn't venture to say that she prepares the girls for the "real" modeling world, in any great sense (outside of building a portfolio). As much as I love Top Model, the show is contrived, and let's face it, some of these girls would never (and will never) get picked up by an agency. And there are girls that got kicked off early or for stupid reasons who are way more successful now than any of the real winners (Elysse, Mollie Sue, Anne). And need we mention Adrianne Curry?

And the whole Tiffany thing bothers me. Tyra has a rigid definition of being sad. Some people, like Tiffany, cope with sad situations by laughing. Tyra just didn't get that, and that's why she blew up. Regardless, it's still the best Top Model moment ever

Oh yeah. She ended up not pursuing a career as a doctor and has literally traveled the globe modeling. She's mentioned that she's done so much work that she doesn't even use her ANTM shots in her portfolio.

I like Tyra. I think considering the ego a lot of models have she is one of the few I can actually stand. Naomi is a bitch with a big ego, whereas Tyra is just an idiot with a big ego.
