But the number one thing that improves everyone's attractiveness level is confidence. It shows in your face, your body language, everything. There are always people far less attractive than each of us who find someone love to them or have sex with them, and it's usually because whatever they're carrying inside of them made the outside even more noticeable.

Stop looking away from guys you're attracted to, and start looking as though they should be looking at you.

I'm a freelance web developer right now, so I wouldn't exactly call that a job. It is more of a bill-paying hobby lol.

First face pic a solid seven, clean, open , honest, boy next door look. One notch higher if you have a great personality.
Second pic, much the same.
Third pic, goofy fun loving guy, but cute.
Fourth pic, looks like you are putting on the "I'm a bad boy face".

I really like the first face pic, parted lips with a glimpse of the teeth. That is a great look to impress people.

Suggestions: get rid of the long side burns, hair is OK, I like short . Goatee, trim it close or at least don't let it get any longer. You are a nice looking guy and you look the way God made you. That should be good enough for everyone else.

You're not digging the sideburns? Those are one of the only things I liked about my face lol. Fourth pic was supposed to be more of a "this is what I look like in the sunlight" picture since I'm always squinting outside lol. Thanks for the compliments!

True, but also remember that there's a difference between being cocky and self-confident...and self-confidence is a very attractive feature.

I'm confident about a lot of things - I know I'm funny, I know I'm smart, I know I can beat anyone ever at "mercy" (that stupid game kids play), etc, I've just never been confident about my looks.

I'd love to be able to exude confidence and use that to find the love of my life, but even with the great input and compliments I've received on this thread, it's very difficult to instantly turn around on something that has been 22 years in the making lol. The feeling of unworthiness that I have took a long time to develop and it may take a long time to dissipate. But thank you for your input!

I think that what this thread has done is made me open to the possibility that I may not be as unattractive as I had always believed. Like I said in an earlier post, my feeling of unworthiness related to my looks took a number of years to develop. Kids don't naturally think that they are ugly and not wanted, it takes time for those feels of self doubt to come about. Given that, I'm sure that it will take time for me to more accurately assess my looks and revise my self-image. I still maintain, even with y'alls overly-nice ratings lol, that the majority of the male populace looks more attractive than I do. But, I also see, in this thread, that just because I may not be the hottest guy on earth doesn't mean that someone won't legitimately like me at some point. I just have to wait and be open for it if it comes by way.

I'm sorry, but you are so freaking hot! Like everyone has been saying your eyes are so beautiful. It also doesn't hurt that I find red heads to be very very sex and you are.

What you might be failing to realize, darlin', is that many people we might all find very attractive don't necessarily find themselves attractive. It's the vibe we put out that often determines whether or not people approach us. You're right--you didn't get this way overnight, and it won't change that quickly either. However, now that you're getting some feedback about how attractive you really are to others, you can start working on carrying yourself like you have confidence. You might be surprised at how quickly one can develop such a thing if he's saying the right stuff to himself.

You don't just start believing something. It takes telling yourself what you need to hear, over and over, to start building the belief. What you "know" about yourself in this case isn't fact--it's merely the "truth" because you accept it as such. Start telling yourself the new truth, and you'll start to believe it. That's how it's worked up 'til now, and it's how you can make the changes in your beliefs moving forward.
