First, second and third seasons are avaialable on DVD now. Netflix them and watch when you want. There's plenty of lesbian sex but I watch it for the great writing and directing....

OMG! That poncho was so friggin' hilarious. And when she does her "affirmation" and walks right into the glass? Too funny.

And someone else mentioned her nephew... that kid was soo funny! "I don't want to watch the telenovela, I want to watch fashion TV."

I also thought it was great to see Salma doing her cameos by way of the novelas. Especially as that was how she broke into the business.
 
What a charming episode! I loved its sericomic tone--not a drama, but not a sitcom, and definitely not a run of the mill soap opera.

I loved everyone's costumes--the Guadalajara pancho included--but also Vanessa Williams' assistant's clothes. Can't wait for the next in the series.
 
Sorry to be the wet blanket, I thought it was a total bore. But what do I know? I have never even seen an episode of survivor (yawn).

i loved the first episode. this my become my new fave show.
 
I cought it last night at abc.com .. it was very funny. I liked it but I thought Salma in the telenovela playing all the time on the tv was hilarious.
 
I loved the part where the little kid says to his mother " I don't want flan, it will make me FAT!." or something like that.
 
I just watched it on abc.com. I thought it was brilliant. Plus Eric Mabius is one of the hottest guys on TV so it would be worth it for that alone.
 
I just caught all four existing episodes on ABC.com, it's quite a fun show.... dare I say it... it is 'Desperate Housewives' before it started sucking. Humour, mystery and definately a warmth about it. Love it.

SIDENOTE: Any Ricky Gervais fan would appreciate Ashley Jensen ('Extras') and Lucy Davis ('The Office'- UK) being part of the cast! I loved Ashley Jensen!
 
Last week's episode was one of the funniest episodes of any tv show I've seen a long long time!!! I was almost in tears from laughter!!

One of the funny quotes:
Willimena: "Did you gesture at me when you said Kwanzaa????"

And:
Amanda: "Ho-la!" Betty's Dad: "No, it's pronounced 'hola'" Amanda: "No. There's an 'H' in it!"
