Did you ever hear the story about how the Camel was actually a Horse designed my a committee?

Choose Manchester, pick the location in Manchester, find a couple of hotel/motels where "out of towners" can stay.

Do it!

Do none of you actually read the other threads in this forum?

Some JUB meets work, and some don't.

Sitting around talking about it, and trying to come to a group decision, isn't going to amount to anything.

Someone is going to have to "take the bull by the horns" and make this happen!

:)

Yep, I agree with Centexfarmer.

Manchester seems like the better choice. It's more central - admittedly, for that York or Birmingham would've been better - it's smaller, hence easier to navigate around, it's not quite so insanely packed all the time, it's actually affordable (make no mistake, if it's in London there's no way I can go), everything.

What about London on Friday 22nd February, moving up to Manchester Saturday 23rd February? Come to either or both? Book out a hostel dorm if necessary?

.

The trouble is that people in the UK are deeply reluctant to travel - 100 miles is a long way over here.

If we book it for somewhere people don't want to go, no-one will make the effort to show up.
