sharia law has no place in our world now. we killed god. now we have to move on

That is just disgusting. I hope God send a meteor to crush those pieces of shits.

I am SOOOOOOO glad I'm living in the USA.

I was born in Vietnam. Vietnam is an Asian and communist country with the same tolerance for homosexuals as Iran.

My family and I( in 82) risked our lives in the ocean to get to America. It was so worth it.

Unfortunately some people come to a country with no intention of adopting the native culture and ethical values. Backwards ideologies like this should be outright banned and perpetrators prosecuted appropriately - political correctness has gone too far in protecting this under 'religious freedom'.

When you hurt someone else, your right to 'religious freedom' ends.

I heard that younger Viets are much more open to homosexuality. I have some viet friends here in Canada that Know i'm gay and are totally cool with it.

Why are we supposed to respect and defend the right to do this kind of crap (Murder, hatred, genocide, and Dark Ages thinking all in the name of Religion) when Mormon polygamists are persecuted for having multiple wives (all in the name of love)? Sometimes our "Powers in Charge" don't make a Hell of a lot of sense to me.

What I don't get is how the murderers can claim it was according to the law when she was not even given a trial.

What it really boils down to is one of them wanted her and she said no. "Poor" boy got his ego bruised and had to strike back.

well .. and yet so many, including the op, call for the death sentence for those three KIDS ..

I have to disagree with your sentiment here - it's as if it makes any difference whether they're technically 'youth' or not, when you start killing people you're making an adult decision which you have to pay the consequences for. Call me harsh, but I would completely support trying these 'kids' as adults and holding them responsible to the full extent of the law, including any extreme legal pentalities (death sentence or life term) that may come with that set of consequences. This was a premeditated and vicious murder, not an accident/manslaughter.

That was i first reaction and i didn't mean it.
My real reaction is not for the death sentence but the kids should be punished some how to make sure there is no further stoning/honour killing by other people with similar cultures.

no surprise here .. it is the typical american argument where you jail 12 year olds for sexual harassment and murder murderers, but feel like you are not a murderer because the murderer murdered first. no point in further discussing this, as we have been there a lot of times already.

From the press reports it would appear that one of the murderers was 16 years of age; therefore a minor under the laws of most Western countries.

Capital punishment has been proven not to reduce the murder rate, and merely reflects the feelings of those who believe that killing people, who kill people serves the interests of justice.

The hypocrisy of killing people, who kill people is transparent for many of us; but not for all.

I'm allow to change my mind and I don't support capital punishment. :)

oh and while we are at it. the local police says the sharia story is made up. they say that all evidence supports a "simple" hold-up murder. and the kid seems to 15. probably no surprise that this bit of info is missing in the anti-islam blog.

It took Corny to expose your hypocrisy to change your mind.

I appreciate that each of us has much to learn. I, being at the head of the list.

Well, lets talk about hypocrisy.
I believe i'm no better or worst than any other. :)

This scene still stuck in my mind:

Posting more video that illustrates gruesome inhumane behaviour does not in any way mitigate the fact that you declared:

Those three kids who stoned her to death should be stoned to death too in my opinion.
