Trump apparently has insisted that Ukraine give Putin the entire Donbas region rrrZZZia now occupies or threatens that Ukraine will be destroyed by their invaders.

There is no pretext here any more.

Trump knows there is no Nobel at the end of this and is now fully and openly an agent of the Kremlin.

At this point I don’t think Trump has any affinity for either Zelenskyy or Putin as they both are making him look bad because they keep fighting. Trumps head spinning vacillations on the war are a result of him just wanting to declare victory and move on and on some days he thinks pressuring Zelenskyy is the way to go on others it’s Putin.

For Trump the war is an annoyance for both Zelenskyy and Putin its existential and Trump not understanding that is the cause of his frustration.
