just think about what a fuckrag he's gonna feel like when he sees himself. i was actually pulling for him before the fight. that's just bullshit.

Browning's gonna feel like a bit of a chump too. for all the grandstanding there were times in the fight where it seemed like he wasn't even trying. some of his strikes looked weak as hell.

they need to gag Bisping. respect his fightiing, and he IS hot as hell, but his voice is so fucking irritating....

Anyway... i WATCHED the fight with Silva and Lites(spelling?)... and i've written off Silva. No more. Sick of the man. I mean, Lites trying to "trick" Silva into a ground game was sad, but Silva didn't even TRY to look like he was gonna put up some goddamned offense.

In all that, i can plainly say i like Dana White more now... at least he fucking acknowledges mistakes!

as for Silva, i just read that he's inked "the fight of the year". he's fighting Forrest at UFC 101. Lord knows i love me some Forrest Griffin, but if Silva brings his game....my boy's gonna get murdered either way, the fight's got blockbuster potential, but i think i'm more looking forward to Amir finally debuting officially

felt so bad for Santino. i was pulling for DeMarques, but i felt for the guy he beat too. in terms of character and respect, the US guys could really learn alot from UK.

Frank really didn't deserve to be there in the 1st place. i was actually surprised with Dollar's performance. i'm liking him more and more, physically speaking that is.

Stapleton IS hot as hell, but that EAR....i know it's shallow, and i could work around it, but damn that shit's gross.

I hope we see Stapleton in the Octagon in the future.

Dent annoyed me. Not just in the fight, but in general.

I mean, he's a total hottie, but he's a totally weak fighter... Lawson gassed out in the second round, and he BARELY took advantage. He coulda gone for a BIG ass KO as many times as Jeff bent down trying to catch his breath!

I don't see Dent making it further than this. He was a huge disappointment... and now Pierce is going, because he's being a weak ass. Dent and Pierce - the perfect anti-social couple.

yep...Dent and Pierce were both disappointments. actually didn't have anything against Pierce(til the fight), but going into i was pulling for Lawson. he just had more heart. Pierce REALLY pissed me off, acting so disappointed at Dana's decision. "It just sucks having the opportunity taken away from you".....bitch, please. he's gonna go home, take a look at his demeanor on the show and hopefully feel like a total ass.

Okay, there wasn't really a bad fight all night, though a lot of the undercard matches ended in the first round. Here are the results:

George Roop (9-5) defeated lightweight Dave Kaplan (3-3) by split decision. I like George, so I was happy for him.

Welterweight Brock Larson (27-2) stopped Mike Pyle (17-6-1) via arm triangle at 3:06 of the first round. Whoot! Brock is from Minnesota!

Welterweight Yoshiyuki Yoshida submitted former Navy SEAL Brandon Wolff by guillotine choke at 2:24 of the first round.

Kyle Bradley beat Philipe Nover (Waaaah! He was one of my favorites from TUF a couple seasons ago! You know, the one Junie Browning talked shit to all the time?) but it was really disputed. Kyle kind of threw him down and then punched him when he was on the ground, and Lavigne stopped the match because Philipe went limp briefly. He recovered, and was pissed off about the stoppage, and so was the crowd. They booed Lavigne for the rest of the night.

Chael Sonnen beat Dan Miller by decision in three rounds, which is particularly incredible because he was a last-minute replacement in the fight and had to lose 36 pounds in 3 weeks to make it. Miller also almost submitted him at one point.

Drew McFedries knocked out Xavier Foupa-Pokam in 37seconds. I really like McFedries. He's an inspiration. He's been living with Crohn's Disease for a long time and has had a bunch of other challenges, and just keeps getting back up to fight again.

Krzysztof Soszynski (I think he was on the same season of TUF as Philipe) knocked out Andre (?) Gusmao in the first round.

Frankie Edgar beat Sean Sherk by decision, which really pleased me because Frankie Edgar is a pretty small 155-pounder, and Sean Sherk is HUUUGE. But it was the classic story of the fast little guy beating the slow big guy.

Matt Hughes won the decision over Matt Serra, and they actually hugged afterwards. I think the bad blood is gone. Matt Hughes bugs me though, so I'm bummed about the loss.

AND.

Lyoto Machida is now the new Light Heavyweight Champion of the World. By knockout in the second round. Rashad Evans got Knocked. Out. Cold.

So there ya have it.

I wonder if Anderson Silva would go up to 205 pounds and fight Lyoto. Now THAT would be an insane fight!

You know, I didn't want to underestimate him, but I kind of couldn't see how Rashad would beat Lyoto, unless Lyoto made a terrible mistake and got tagged with a lucky one. He's human, but I couldn't see Lyoto ever making that mistake, and he didn't.

Yeah, Matt Hughes is extremely annoying. Excellent fighter in his prime, but the way he says things, has treated people, and just the look he gets on his face sometimes make me want to punch him.

Heh. He was being complimentary, but I always get a chuckle out of remembering how someone said he reminded them of The Juggernaut. You know, from Mad Max? lol

I missed this whole season of TUF because I downgraded my cable, so I guess I'll have to find out what you're talking about when it comes out on DVD. Regarding Bisping, that is.

I was over on ******* yesterday and read that my dream of Lyoto and Anderson Silva fighting will never happen, at least according to Lyoto. He said they'd have to pay him 100 million dollars, because Anderson is his friend and he doesn't want to fight him.

gotta give Dent props on his performance. definitely surprised me. towards the end of the 3rd round though, there's a moment where you can see on his face that he kinda gave up mentally. nice fight though.

hated him at 1st, but Dollar really kinda grew on me...physically at least. yeah, i'd definitely let him violate me a bit.
