...it's not erotica? Is it still OK to post about here?

For instance, my novel (Marvin's) World of Deadheads was just listed by Publisher's Weekly among the "202 books that booksellers, publishers, and agents are encouraged to look at..."

Or is it only erotica and porn we're supposed to post?
 
The title of the thread is Gay Stories. Says nothing about gay porn, etc.
 
It doesn't have to be erotica. There are readers here who like a good story. You will find a fan base.
 
Erotica or not?

My last thread got closed by a moderator, but I still have questions regarding this forum, so I've started this new thread.

One response to my question, "What if the writing is not erotica or porn?" indicated the forum title is "Gay Stories." Okay, I get that. What threw me off is the subtitle "Like to write? Post your original gay erotic fiction here"

I write a theater column for a gay (monthly) magazine where there must always be a connection to/for the LGBTQ community. My fiction writing usually includes LGBTQ characters. However, their sexuality isn't the crux of the story (or the book, or the play) - I kind of strive to show that a person's sexual orientation doesn't define who they are, or how they behave. Anyway, I didn't want to start posting things outside the intent of the forum.
