Unattainable Guys

They aren't truly, any more so than attainable ones. It's just one's mind that puts them there, so one can pine away, supposedly as a 'romantic' gesture. What happens when they become attainable? Are they just as adorable? Not usually: one then comes face to face with the end of the fantasy and the beginning of reality. It is not a 'fun fact,' but it is often true.

This unattainable guy I am sure is straight and I know he is engaged to a woman.

For me the reason he is adorable is the way we talk. He is goofy, but still professional. He is my PT.

He kept saying we should go to Vegas together and even after I told him he was getting my hopes up he said it a couple more times. Overall he is just the kind of guy I would like as a friend.
 
So if he can be a friend, how is he "unattainable"?
 
If the "unattainable guys" become obese and smelly,
will you want them ??
 
He's safe... because you know you can't have him and the fantasy of what could have been is far more comforting than actually going out and facing true rejection, in real life.

I don't think that is true. I think we just hit it off. And yes I do put myself out there some.
