Unauthorized photos of O.C. teen water polo athletes posted on gay porn sites

Interesting, especially considering I go to an OC high school. I can, by the way, assure you that none of us are "star-struck". The people on the shows are crack addict whores and people from other places around the country. No idea why they pick the OC for their shitty drama crap.

Anyways, I can't believe that pictures like that would end up on porn sites. I mean, I'm friends with a lot of the senior water polo guys and yes, they're hotter than fuck and i wouldn't object to seeing their bodies... but posting them on sites like that?! WTF! The minors is what grosses me out the most. I'll have to ask my friends if they know if they were in any of the pictures.

And maybe if not, I'll ask them to pose for me instead  (kidding... but maybe not for one of them...)

Edit: Just poked around a bit and couldn't find anything with names (which should be obvious but you never know). With the amount of people I know that do polo I wouldn't be surprised if one or two were photographed. Pretty worrying. I'll ask around tomorrow to make sure no one's going crazy over it or anything.

Ok, so three people I know for sure had photos of them online, and about 4 more might have been. Pretty creepy.

There's a simple solution to this: a law that says that any image of a person is the property of that person.

Thirty years ago that would have been a virtually impossible matter to enforce. Now, it's not so hard.

I'm sorry, what?? Not so hard to enforce? Copyrights on pictures, movies and songs are violated everyday. If I were to post a naked picture of my hot neighbor on the internet, it would take about one day for it to be on about 100 other websites.

I have to ask... how exactly do you think this would be enforced?

Weird legal situation. If it was limited to a water polo site or a legitimate sports site, there should be no problem; the kids were in a public space, and so there wouldn't have been problem.

The problem will be showing that the photographer knew that the photos were being used on porn sites...and if that happens, heaven help the guy...

Too much is being made out of this. Yes, it's irresponsible to post pictures of underage guys on a porn website, even with clothes on. It's clear that the person who posted the photos thought they were erotic, or he would not have posted them. He was wrong to do that. All of that being said, this is not a horrible, devastating thing that's going to ruin the young mens lives.

I fully agree with the views that the photos should not have been used. I think the photographer should be sanctioned.

One comment in the OC Register article did amuse me just a little. When mentioning the websites, it said......

"On these sites, images of local high school athletes, some as young as 14, according to parents, are juxtaposed next to photos of nude or semi-nude young males and graphic sexual content. The photos are the subject of lewd comments from chat room participants as far away as Australia."

I simply cannot believe that Australians, however far away they are, would ever make lewd comments in chat rooms. If in fact Australians are guilty of making lewd comments about young men wearing grey Speedos, should I remove my Australia Day siggy just to ensure that I will not be included in that group of lewd comment makers from so far away?

Have no fear. While TV channel surfing last night I saw the Christmas crusader Bill O`reilly has taken this issue up.
He did a story on this on his POS show. With all the typical exploit blurred photos from some porno site. You know it was clear enough to see thumb nails of all sorts of guys and note that some were naked but the pubes were blurred. Mixed in with the speedo guys. However those weren't the ones that got the camera's main attention it was the naked torso thumb nails.

O`reilly had his two bimbo cheerleader like blonde sex kittens giving their official FOX view. In every mention of the guys it was mentioned "GAY" porno site, not just porno site. "GAY Porno" sites.
If I had a shot of booze for every time they said GAY Porno site I wouldn't have been able to find my remote to surf on by the end of the 3 minute story.
So I guess it would be okay if this junk was just on a porno site but because its on a "Gay" porno site its 10 times worse than bamboo splinters in the eyes.

He said he will be on top of this terrible story with complete follow-ups.
