OK, I am getting serious about getting myself cut. I have done the research and made the decision. Now, I need to find some one to do it.
Do I see a Dr, a urologist or a surgeon? The fewer that I have to see the better. Also, can this be done in a Dr's office/lab or do they have to put you under? I have a high tolerance fro pain but I want this thing gone NOW!!!!
I live in the souther suberbers of Chicago, near Joliet so I hope this will be easy to arrange.
ANY AND ALL HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!
 
As ugly as I find cut dicks, I'll support the decision of an adult to get it done. I think we should all have tht choice, even though I'd never make it for myself.

Now.. there are a few men here who've had it done. I'm sure they can help you out.

depends on your insurance... if you can see whoever, I'd suggest a urologist first.

and it can be done in the office or in the operating room generally. It will most likely be a decision between you and the doctor.
 
Dude, be sure to take some vacation time for recovery because it is going to hurt like a m*therf*cker. You're going to wake up with morning wood or see some dude who turns you on and the wound will be stretched and tender.

Do you realize how many cut guys would give their left nut to have their skin again? Why do you want to get cut?
 
Apparently, you need to wear a condom all day for a while or you can bleed all over your pants if the stiches get ripped.

I wore one for a day after I got my dick pierced, and that was a tiny little hole, but it still bled like you woudln't believe.
 
And keep in mind that, since you're having it done as an adult, you'll have a large visible scar. It won't be the same as having it done when you're an infant.

almost every circumcision leaves a visible scar. some more - some less. but it is visible.
 
mustangman, it is your decision. is it a medical necessity? your natural dick and foreskin have zillions of nerve endings that won't be there afterward. this is of course your choice. all that stuff in the past about cut dicks being more hygenically clean - jeez, any guy who showers and cleans himself there has NO hygiene or infection problem.

It seems that most of the comments have been medically related, but what about the physiological part? I really believe that the reason that I am gay goes back to my inferiority complex and being rejected because I was uncut. Oh, now as an adult, that has not stopped as I have also been turned down with other gay men as I was uncut. I am just so fed up with this BS.
Yes, I would rather not have to go through this crap but the truth is that at some time, I have to say enough is enough. HONDA822 has made a great decision and I WILL follow up on his advice.
This is a passionate debate and will be for some time but ultimately, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I would MUCH rather look at a cut dick any day over an uncut dick.
As for those who want their foreskin back, I will gladly donate mine!

And honestly, if anyone is going to turn you down for being uncut, they're not worth wasting time with anyway. I personally MUCH prefer uncut men, and I'm surprised still to find that there are gay men out there who get so freaked about it.

EVery boyfriend I've ever had seriosuly has been uncut, and I'm happy with that.

If you think that getting cut is going to change your life for the better, you're doing this for the wrong reasons and will spend a lot of money on something that's not going to have the desired effect.




oh, and if you think gay being uncut turned you gay, give your head a shake and spend the money on a counsellor that you need and not a surgeon that you don't. If you still want to get cut after you've let go of the blame-game over your sexual orienation, we'll all support your decision 100%, but there's no way I can say "yeah... you're gay because you have foreskin and if you get circumcized it'll solve all of your problems. I agree mustang that it is your decision. But based on your last post... I would reread SW's post and make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. And Honda, I agree it is his decision but I'd hate to see him make it for the wrong reasons (b/c a boy dumped him over it... not a boy worth having I agree and b/c he thinks it made him gay.... it didn't).
 
I have a hard time not being offended by someone suggesting that being gay is a result of some mental defect, so I'm just going to tell you in this no flame zone that you would have spent the money much better on a counsellor than on getting surgery.

Sorry, but you can't have your gay removed, and blaming being gay on ANYTHING is lame... being gay isn't a blight, it's a blessing.

Sorry if I seem a bit passionate, but being told that I'm maybe gay because of some childhood neurosis makes my blood boil.

You're gay because you're gay, not because you didn't look the same as other boys from the waste down.

Well.. maybe before telling someone that he should just get cut since it made you so happy you could also tell him about the counsellor?

Call me crazy, but him blaming his foreskin for being gay screams someone who's got issues that surgery not only won't heal but will most likely make worse.

well... then it's quite a different story for him, isn't it?

He hates his dick, blames it for being gay, says that he's been rejected for being cut and seems to have some issues that you either don't have or never had.

I have always been supportive of guys getting cut (although if my BF got cut, I'd break up with him.. sorry.. my neurosis) when they get to do it as adults and made the decision for themselves, but you should be very careful when encouraging people to do something irreversible.

I just wish I'd had a fucking choice... I wouldn't give my left nut though, because that would only compound the problem. But I do get angry at my parents every single day.
