Underground Type Groups, Movements, and other weird things

Hello,

I'm new here and wanted to ask a question that hopefully some of you will be able to shed a little bit of light on.

The short version of it is "do party's/rituals like those in the film "Eyes Wide Shut" really exist?

I was watching some YouTube clips of it today and started wondering this question. I'm fairly young and naive so I'm sure they do. But just how far down does the rabbit hole lead. I mean I know orgies exist between people and in groups, but is their even more secret things going on?

Now, I'm not trying to be all conspiratorial and all, but sometimes I wonder what kind of double lives people live. During the day they are one type of person, but they have a hidden persona. Does this exist? A good example of this is the old couple in the movie Rosemary's Baby. From the outside they just seem eccentric, odd but a normal couple. Once the plot develops, something much more sinister is revealed. Now, while this is just a Hollywood movie and fiction, it's the type of information I am looking for. Of course people lead double lives. But what kind, and how weird?

I talked to a guy once who said he went to some parties that were very weird. Mainly, S and M type stuff that he was into. He said most people would be surprised by a lot of stuff out there.

Some random questions I've thought about that may give you a better idea about what I am thinking about are:

Do orgy's exist?

Do they wear masks?

Do strange/weird/creepy sex parties exist? Kind of in an underground type movement setting?

What kind of double lives have you encoured that you or other people live?

What is your knowledge of occultish type events that you know exist? Example: cults, underground groups, rituals, etc. Please leave out much of what has been termed mainlined cults by Evangelical Christians, this would include, Mormons, Jehovah's, etc.

Just to clarify, I'm not looking into information about the Freemasons, Bohemian Grove, Buildbergs, Illumanti, etc. Much of that is just conspriacy theory, hype, and not true. Nor am I looking for information that is exclusive to weird sex parites.

Anyone have any information they'd like to share?

It sounds like you might dig the swinging subculture, it's very much underground but just beneath the surface. Start there, no telling where you'll end up though.

Thanks for the reply. It's not that I don't want to hear any Freemason stories or rituals, I wouldn't mind it actually, but it is very hard to separate fact from fiction with regards to the Masons and other such groups. Personally, I don't think they control the world or believe any of the conspiracy theories floating around out there and there are a ton. I do think it's a weird fraternal order that mainly consists of aging men that is no longer as popular as it once was. That being said, are some of it's rites creepy, weird, and odd, I think so.

Additionally, I'm not looking to join any of these kinds of groups, but rather am more surprised by my own naive nature regarding this stuff. I hadn't considered "swingers" groups but can't see them as anything that occult or weird. They do live double lives though, but isn't it just a bunch a people who want to have an extramarital sex?

If you'd like to share your experiences, that'd be great. But I don't want this to turn into some sort of huge debate where a real Mason comes in here saying, "we're not that bad," "you don't understand us," etc. I'm not looking for any fights or arguments.

I don't think -- or at least I hope anyway -- that anybody would bother holding an orgy as boring as the one in Eyes Wide Shut.

But yes, certainly orgies exist, straight and gay. And S/M get-togethers too.

Probably if you checked your local gay paper or even craigslist you could find some. Others may be invitation-only.

As for masks, I don't think people use them except as an S/M thing...

The ideas of a secret society are intruguing. My experience with the Masons was years ago. And brief at best, but I did get to see the backroom, many people will never get to do that first hand. I've done a lil research, Illuminati and such. But it doesn't matter overall, if they do, if they don't. It doesn't change the fact that me feet hurt after putting in a long shift at work.

The reason I brought up the swingers, it's very much an entry point. Pun not intended. The ability to live this double life. I'm sure that if one travels far enough down that road, one would experience the things you described in your OP.
The orgies, the masks, it's a reality to someone out there. Reminds me of a movie I saw once also. A young man falls in love with a dominatrix. She takes him to a party, decadence abounds. Somehow he ends up in a harness with bit in mouth, and buttplug in ass with a horsetail. And has to pull a cart across gravel barefoot. Crazy shit, but a good movie nonetheless.

My time with the Masons? I was chosen to recieve a scholarship by them. There was a presentation ceremony/pot luck dinner. (This is the small town south, btw) After the dinner, the other person recieving the scholarship was more or less dismissed, she wasn't allowed more being female. Rules? They take me to the backroom. There's an alter of sorts with lights attached. On it is the bible. It was all very surreal. The closest thing that has ever come to that whole evening was rush week at the first college I attended.
Years go by and I meet a senior Mason, senior as in age. I will never know the exact level of his involvement with them. He is quite insane and has internalized the doctrine of the Masons to such a degree it has become some sort of dementia. There was always a code, a phone number that if dialed would provide whatever was needed.
Whoo boy, the things we will never know. It's astounding.

Let me just clarify something. I'm not really looking for swinger information. And I'm not looking for information how to join any of those groups either.

Swingers stories and information is out there and I don't find it interesting. Let me know if I need to clarify on this any more.

If you want to find out something that's underground you will have to go underground. The shit you see in the movies is just fiction, it may exist but you will never know until you go and find out.


If anyone is involved in these types of activities, do you think they're going to give you the sunday tour of the factory just cause you drop by with a pad and pencil?
