  • Penalties: Non-compliance can lead to legal actions, including fines and potential lawsuits.
Implications for Users:

  • Privacy Concerns: Sharing personal identification online raises privacy and data security issues.

So, does Just Us Boys have any plans to institute any age verification methods for us members and users in Florida on New Years' Day, or even block access, as Porn Hub has apparently decided to do?

And while we're talking politics, you'll notice that those are all red states that are passing these laws.

There is a rumor that ISPs in Texas are now somehow blocking adult websites that they don't like. I tried to access the ones mentioned to me - XVideos, and youporn and my browser briefly shows a start page, then almost immediately goes to a blank page. JUB is not affected, but some of the other affiliates of Pornhub seem to be.

I don't know that is why this is happening, but I find it odd that the sites I was informed were behaving strangely do seem to be unreachable, and none of the rest of the net is affected.

Hey guys, hope everybody is doing well!

Since Jan 1st the new laws kicked in and we have to verify our ages in certain states to get on porn sites and other websites that contains adult materials.

Half of me gets that, the other half feels really sad about it because some states even got blocked from many porn sites such as Pornhub and others.

Some people told me they changed their VPNs to bypass this, which is fine, but it is still sad that we have to go through that to be able to enjoy life. Some people don't just go on adult material websites to enjoy themselves but also connect with other folks like them, such as LifeOut, a site where men connect with each other, which had to block completely one state since their law is too onerous, which I am glad I don't live in that state lol.

Anyway, just a thought this morning waking up,. Hope everybody have a good weekend. 🥰

Whoa, some of these laws hit well over a year ago (and Louisiana just "reached" two years ago) so it's been going on for a while. This is the first I've read/heard of this which - well - surprises me greatly. I have been around a lot of media where I thought I would have seen this new(ish) topic. I'm just surprised this got by me, but...that coincides fairly close, now that I think about it, to the time in early 2023 into a lot of things that fall outside of the news, such as classic videos, quora.com, various Japanese puzzle sites, hiking in the county, yearly sales lists, traveling, social events, the delightful intensity of the Big City (Chicago). And as a result, a lot less time here...

There's surely at least a few states that are now aware of those laws passed in all those states (presumably enacted by the legislatures and signed by the Governors) - AND there are people with notable state powers who Haight it when children learn how to think and ask questions.

Strap your seat belts, this could be a VERY strange year. Let's hope this "cancer" doesn't metastasize any farther than it has. Surprised (though only somewhat) not seeing West Virginia and Wyoming (the reddest state) on the list, and a little (but ONLY a little) surprised to see MT on the list and (as mentioned) not WY.

These states, um, their foot is "in the door" now, watch them start keeping this content from ADULTS. We know the Taliban-gelicals don't want anybody to see these.

EDIT BEFORE POSTING: I was only replying to Bryce's OP, then I decided to do a search through the posts after Bryce. Tx-Beau, you're a step ahead of me. What I just said, IS happening to you directly, now.

Get ready for the Roberts SC to kick it down to the states.

Project 2025 wants to ban porn in the US. And this is the way to do it.

I don't even want to hazard a guess as to what Thomas and his lumpen wife are into.

Does this coincide with the congressional slush fund to pay off sexual civil cases? The congressional members get to use taxpayer money to pay away thier sexual exploits.
