I ended my Subscription to SHOWTIME years ago...When Seymore Butts show "Family Business" was canceled and "Queer as Folk" series ended so did my monthly payments..

Loved last week when her gay son kissed the preacher's son! The preacher's son kissed back.

I'm loving this show...

Yeah, I'm really enjoying it. I have a DVR, but I don't need to set it to record USofT because I have it on the "On Demand" service.... so I can introduce people to the show with all the episodes they've missed.

(Also, with On Demand, you get the episode almost a week earlier :) )

This is a wonderful and intelligent show. After catching the George Cukor reference within the first five minutes of the pilot I knew I was hooked. Then they throw us a clip of Louise Brooks in Pandora's Box by episode two! This is my new obsession.

omg i just watched that episode....I almost teared up.

Poor poor Marshall.

honestly though...this is one of my favorite new shows.

If the cast of this show and Diablo Cody don't get recognized by the Emmys and Golden Globes this year...it will be such a mistake.

Toni Collette has got to be a sure thing for the Emmy like Glenn Close was for Damages last year.

that episode is on On Demand now...for anyone that wants to watch it

Love it, love it, love it!!! Always loved Toni Collette since Muriel's Wedding... huge crush for John Corbett since Northern Exposure... and the story is so bizarre and addictive! Love it!(!)

I just saw Ep. 11 too. I was starting to get annoyed with Max. I thought it was completely crazy how cool he was with everything and how he kinda yelled and the kids for not being down with all the insanity. It is really tough for them and he kinda downplayed their concerns. I agree he was being an unrealistically perfect husband. Sometimes at the expense of his kids.

I hope they dont go anywhere with a Max and Charmaine affair. She was clearly making a pass at him in the garage in one of the early episodes. But now she's got too much going on with Neil and the other guy she's seeing too.

I'm hoping/thinking Marshall is done with the pills and realizes what Kate said was true. That alters really carry out what Tara thinks is best in a fucked up way. She was so right about Jason's sexuality. I want Marshall to get a love/sex life that doesnt include Jason.

At first I didnt think the show needed to be an hour. But now I think it really does because the kids storylines are so interesting as well. In fact, my other friends who watch, gay and straight, like Marshall's story the best. There's not enough time to get everything you need.

I officially despise one thing about the show. It's too damn short. Thirty minutes is not enough. I don't feel like the characters have time to accomplish anything by the end of the episode. It's like... I can't even describe it. It's just not satisfying enough. The episodes are too short. We need an hour. They just don't give us enough answers. They could easily stretch these episodes to an hour and go more in-depth into storylines and just give us more than they do.
