I love it, mostly! However, with that in mind, where do you particularly like?

I like cities rather than seaside resorts.

Hence your love of York and, maybe, Brum!') What about the glorious English countryside, are you not so keen?

This is a bit of countryside near to Gate Helmsley taken from one of my cycle rides when I had stopped to have some lunch.

You have to ask that! You be asking where the bog is next! In fact it is past that tree, down the hill and round the corner on the right

I wouldn't ask that. One could just pop behind the hedge.

But that is what I always do! What shall I do with you, Paul? It is a funny old life.

Well here's a pub in Burniston just north of Scarborough.

Looks alright. Why that one in particular?

I went walking north from Scarborough that day and ended up there. Would have gone in for a drink, but I realised that I was not carrying any money! And I had to walk all the way back to Scarborough.... just as well I enjoy walking as much as I love cycling

I never go out without cash.

I don't usually either. For some reason, which I cannot recall, that day I did! I always check to make sure I have a small float of cash before going out.
This is Millington Dale, near Pocklington. Again it was taken on a cycle ride.
