Hello, Paul.(*8*). I hope you will have a good start to the new week. It's raining here, and will keep going until late tomorrow.

Hello, Paul.(*8*). I'm relieved that you are safe and well, and I hope you did not have to spend last night in that gym. Computers can come in useful when having to work from home, but I hope the trains can resume running tomorrow, and that you'll get back into work.
It's been a wet day here, but quiet compared to having an unexploded bomb!;)

Evening. (*8*)

I'm sure everything will be back to normal in the morning. Trains could have run from mid-afternoon today if London Midland weren't so fucking useless!

I'm glad you are OK, but I have a strange feeling you are not too keen on London Midland as a passenger operator! Would you, for example, prefer Virgin?;)

I travel on Virgin rather than London Midland whenever I go to London. There's no comparison. Virgin care about their passengers, London Midland clearly couldn't give a toss.

Well, Paul, you'll have try and get Virgin to take over London Midlands services. Of course, if it was still BR, then ........;)

I think the London Midland franchise is up for remewal, but I don't think Virgin are interested in commuter services.

I thought so. I see Labour are going on about renationalisation. I don't think that is an option, and I don't think we should go back to BR. I recall the filthy carriages with seats missing and dirty windows! A signaller friend has said on many occasions that the railway would be punctual and speedy if the trains did not have to carry passengers or freight!;)

I know. I think that Labour have written another suicide note! They are so out of touch with people.

Well, although I put Hull, I live just to the north of it. You see, it's easier to put Hull, for it makes it much simpler for everyone to find it on the map!
I wonder if you actually live in the middle of Birmingham?
