The TV has inputs, but the computer doesn't have correct outputs. I guess it's older now.

Paul, I tried doing that a few years ago, but it went wrong - a possible software issue.
I have one of those so-called smart TVs, although I've still to try to figure out how the internet side of it works!
I know you have to put your internet address into it.
I'll sit down one day and sort it out.
Yea, my TV has wi-fi, but my computer doesn't have that. It's hard wired to the internet. Other 2 computers in house use the wi-fi though. My phone has it too, but I'm too blind to do internet on that.
