I did not get too far in the strong wind that was blowing - Cawkeld, which is about half way to Driffield. Next week promises to be too hot! I would have gone through to Pickering otherwise.

Can't say I know that place. Pickering is nice though. Have you ever visited Pickering Castle?

I use the train every day to go to work. That's not so much fun.
I know. They aren't. They never have been. There used to be non-corridor carriages in which you had twenty four passengers crammed into each tiny compartment. That was back in the days of steam.
I can't say I remember that, but today's trains are still overcrowded.
