Unpopular opinions and ideas

I'm Catholic.
I'm against death penalty.
I'm pro nuclear energy.
I think there are absolute moral values and relative ones.
I think liberty, equality and fraternity are goals but not realities.
 
Anti western religion against the big 3, with demonstrations in attire or tapestry towards satanism and pre christian northern European paganism.
Its not a way to find many gay friends and those you find misunderstand but anti-region would include satanism in its pure form. Not Le`vay hippie psycho vampire shit but real black.

Puts me into a very undesirable place with family and friends

Puts me into a awkward scene where I encounter pure hate of gays and jews with Nietzsche nationalist or Nazis because of music. But there is nothing really wrong with a little anarchy.

It can be touch~n~go after a night of drinking or party drugs with possible ill results.
 
I don't hold that Sex should be the be-all/end-all of relationships. I believe you can be committed to someone without being monogamous. As long as you're safe, and open about it, I don't consider 'exploring' with others as 'cheating'. Cheating is about Deception! True Care, Respect, and Acceptance, have no boundaries, contrived or otherwise. Unconditional Love holds one close with open arms. (group)
 
The idea that I like to make love to other guys may put me at odds with society at large. Especially if I were to assert myself about it.

This, and my anti mormonism stance often doesnt go over well with my parents and interferes with having any meaningful relationship with them. We both have to live with that and have to make some compromise.

Sexual promiscuity makes me feel icky. I think people who look at sexuality as a big conquest, competition, a means of status etc are people I least want to know.

Musical tastes. Everyone is at odds in that department.

I can't think of anything beyond trivial to add really..
 
I hate the soda ban policy in NYC. I like sodas. I keep myself fit. What's next...banning cupcakes? I love cupcakes too.
 
All religions are false and were created by primitive men to explain things they couldn't understand. Religion has long proved to be a barrier for social progress and has been used to justify countless atrocities for thousands of years. It encourages people to disconnect from reality, believe falsehoods and turn off the rational aspects of their mind. The world would be better off without it.
 
this is a good question because if the respondent answers truthfully they are self aware of turf to tread lightly on and where they are outside of the main frame.
The problem is the fanatic doesn't realize their point is in the minority and is self righteous without considering the majority. Rather the majority is wrong or right matters not but realizing when to back off is decent amount of self thought and the tact is worth the effort to save face and keep the peace.
I could use Dan Savage or the tea party as examples of USA fanatics. Both are not going to win brownie points but polarize the other side and then nothing but conflict follows.

I object to twinks who look 15 or 16 doing porn, REGARDLESS of what their real age is. It was an opinion that proved extremely unpopular around here. Oh well.

P.S. I largely supported Arizona's immigration policies and see very little wrong with them. I know that is also an extremely unpopular opinion.
 
I don't think holding unpopular opinions automatically makes you a more interesting person.

maybe because i've been forever single or never had sex but i do not see the big deal about being in a relationship, having sex or just finding somebody to love. like what's the big deal? it always makes me wonder why some people make a big deal about being single especially people that have had sex, boyfriends, girlfriends, or somebody for that matter. why does the world look down on being a virgin or single for that matter? seriously, why does it matter? nowadays, i'm becoming more content with my single status. even if i were to come out tomorrow, i don't think i would jump into anything with anybody because it's not at the top of my list. my world doesn't revolve around finding love or sex.
 
I would like to see JUB survive without porn as its front page. Just have it be a forum where gay men can share opinions about all the topics, including the Porn Forum because it is a part of our lives, but w/o the front page stuff. No, I'm not a prude. I just want this site to survive w/o porn links.

It is just fine to have sex with lots of different people for no other then reason than you want to (as long as you're safe).

Just because you're older than someone doesn't mean you've "been through" more than them.

Cursing doesn't make someone unintelligent.

Wearing glitter, wings, nothing at all, etc, as well as having a bondage fuck fest in the middle of the street during Pride hurts the movement of marriage equality (and equality for gays in every other respect).
