Sorry, but the bills and other paperwork all referred to it as a UPP. Maybe Alaska conserves Ps due to the cold.

Oh, and my surgery was precipitated by sleep apnea, which was obviously related to the snoring, but also due to inflamed tonsils I had been experiencing frequently since childhood.

My translation is it's like a Kosher Kill on the inside - cuts your throat from one tonsil, taking out the Uvula and Soft Palate on the way over to the other (also perfectly healthy) tonsil.
