Last I heard, McCartney is NOT in the role of Zuko, it is a British actor of Middle Eastern origin.

Heard it from the resident mega-nerd at my work.

I would not want to see Jesse in that role, i agree unknowns are better.

There is a list of the cast on imdb.com. I suppose it's a good cast, but I just always figured the characters would be of eastern Asian descent. I suppose Shayamalan wanted to give it a more Middle Eastern/Indian look. I'll keep an open mind, because I love the series, and I hope Shayamalan does it justice. One thing I am glad about is that my love Dev Patel is in it playing Zuko. Much better choice than McCartney.

I loved the cartoon series so I'm quite excited about the movie. Hmm.. having the director being Shyamalan makes me a bit nervous due to some of his flops. Perhaps I'll just watch it for the special effects.
