USA/UK Jub Relationships!

When I met Pubert, we lived 2000 miles away. Somehow, we made it work, but it took a lot of work and money, and somebody had to be willing to uproot his entire life and move to a brand new state and start things afresh.

I can never repay Pubert for that. (*8*)

^Yeah, but you're both Americans Lex. It would probably be much more difficult to adapt in another country w/o contacts/employment. Although, the UK isn't really that much of a stretch.

Besides, I'm not so convinced that the Tony/Centraltyler thing was such a great idea.

Give it a go though Andrew BUT don't rush into anything. Relationships take a lot of time to build. Just keep chatting away for now.
 
i flirt all the time with members in the uk and around the world. in fact somewhere along the line i married one of them. he's a moderator so i'm not dropping any names. in fact i don't really remember how we got hitched. i just woke up one morning and there we were! anyhow... i see my flirting across the jub globe as a way to salve the hurt and strained relations my stupid government has caused. i see it as my jub / american civic duty! :mrgreen:
 
The truly tough part is visiting each other a few times to see if you mesh in person the same way you mesh online or over the phone. Arranging time off, money for flights, etc can be a major hurdle, especially if it ends up you don't really hit it off in the flesh.
