Using quote to resspond to JUB posts.

If I am to use the quote button to respond to a post, i click on it and make my response. If I need to "Preview Post", when I go there my response is in the preview, but the edited part below that disappears.
Wondeering if it is something wrong with my PC or JUB.
I'm running Win7 on a year old emachine. The forum is the only place I notice it.
 
I am not sure if I can follow. You press the "quote" button and type something in the reply, too. Then you press "preview" and what you typed is there. But what does disappear? The quote?

I clicked the posts I wanted to quite then clicked quote on the last post, then the quotes show up on my little typing area. Then when I click Preview Post

It shows the preview of the quoted and my reply. Then the more I type I can click Submit Reply or Preview Post. Seems everything is working fine for me. I can also see the editing area (Place I type) when I press the preview button again. Might be your PC.

Here, this is what happens.
I'm on the quote part to respond.
Now when I go to preview, the preview (top part) is there,
but the edit part (the bottom part) will disappear.
I'm gonna try something right now and press "Submit reply" and see if it is still there.
 
So if I go ahead and submit all is ok.
but if I want to edit the part I type to respond I have to copy and paste what is in the top part. the edit part disappears.
Sorry if this is not clear. I don't know how else to put it.
 
Then it must be my PC. I'll see what I can do to fix it.

See? I clicked on GamerBear's quote button for my response and GameBear's quote isn't there. This is something new for my problem

Oh, I probably won't come back. If I remember i will. But I consider my problem fixed for now as far as JUB is concerned.
 
Did you try a different browser to see if it the same thing happens?
 
That samething happens to me only since I switched to Windows7 and on IE9, it didn't occur on XP. As I have no experience with IE8 I cannot say if it happened.
Switching browsers to Firefox is doesn't occur on Windows 7.

It took me some time to come back. I want to thank you for this response. Yes I'm on IE8 now and the quote is working. Man, I hate to leave Firefox just to quote JUB.

Sorry I took so long to come back. My problem appears to be going to win7 and using Firefox. I'm on IE8 now and it's working. thanks
 
I don't think I've ever had your problem, but I do find the system quirky. It will tell me I have to wait so many seconds to submit ANOTHER post when I never actually submitted the first one.

Usually that happens when you double post. Though you may never really know it.
