Well we had rain all day yesterday but then in the afternoon the sun did break trough. The temperature dipped down and a cool breeze was blowing through the valley. Last night was wonderful sleeping weather to snuggle down under the comforter!

The opening ceremonies for the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games went off well and were good from what I heard this morning. They also ran the Bear Race up the mountain to the top which is amazing. How thsoe runners do it is way beyond me. What a run. One mile almost straight up!

Today the weather is predicted to be very nice and tomorrow as well so that bodes well for the organizers of this annual event.

Sunday afternoon late we may start to see Dennis come through our area but by then everything should be over or at least mostly over.

I hope all of you have a nice weekend and enjoy yourselves no matter what you choose to do. I love you guys!

It is very early and very foggy in the valley. I had to put my lights on to come to work but that usually is a good sign that today will be sunny and nice. Hope so for all the people at the Highland Games this weekend.

I am sort of working but not really working today.

I have to go to the dumpster site and take my garbage and sort it in the different bins. I enjoy that and it is very satisfying. Not sure if they make us feel good and then mix it all up when they cart it off but it does make me feel good.

I also will pick up trash along a section of highway that I patrol.

Not as good as a great wank but hey its hard to beat a jerk off session.

I posted another chapter in my story yesterday and did not even realise that I posted Friday on a Friday!

Have fun to day all of you and peace

Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous perfect 10 kind of summer day. Nice cool breeze all day long. Nice sunshine and puffy white clouds all day long.

I weedeated a bunch yesterday and got into my weedeater zone and just floated around in a way. It was fun!

Then worked in my garden such as it is for awhile and that felt good to get dirt under my fingernails.

I changed the sheets on my bed and did lots of laundry and finished a book and started a new book.

Finished Iron & Silk by Mark Saltzman about his two years in China. Great book about the Chinese culture.

I friend came back into town after being gone for 6 months and it was nice to see her again. Had a few friends over for dinner on the deck and sat their peacefully looking out over the valley watching clouds, eating good food, drinking wine, and just feeling pretty good about it all.

Today is church and then this afternoon I have to work but it is OK.

peace to you all on this Sunday and always

We are getting some of the remnants of Dennis right now. Rain is predicted all week long off and on.

I love the rain so it is OK with me. Of course if you are in the path of the hurricane it will not be a good day and I keep all those folks in my prayers and thoughts today.

I had a good time yesterday. My friend who has been away came back and we went to church together and that was nice and then she took me out to lunch afterwards and that was pleasant and nice.

Good lunch and good catching up on her world and all that has happened. She has been gone for almost a year and so much can of course happen in that time.

Hope you day is good and enjoyable no matter what you are doing.

peace

More rain predicted today but at least the weather is cool and breezy which feels soooooo good!

The clouds this AM were wonderful back lite with the bright sun coming up over the mountain in the distance.

It is such a gorgeous morning.

Coffee and JUB what more could I ask for? Perhaps a gorgeous guy to walk in my office door, strip naked and beg me to suck on his hard dripping cock but hey other than that I am pretty set! ROTFL!

peace to all of you today and always.

This has been a stressful week at work for many reasons but I am sure you don't want to hear about that so I won't bore you.

This time each summer it seems to be the same and you would think I would learn from the past but I guess I am doomed to repeat my mistakes! I have to LOL and ROTFL or I guess I would cry!!!!

Sometimes I feel like yelling for :help: .

Oh well today is another day and a new day and tomorrow will be here before I know it and then the next day and the next.

peace to you all today and always.

I guess to some extent I have gotten over part of my stress from yesterday or at least put it behind me. I mean it happens every year about this time and I need to anticipate it and not let it bother me or get me down.

My big problem is I want to please everyone around me all the time and that is an impossible task. So I really set my self up to fail in a way and that is not good.

The mist in the valley this morning was spectacular and looking south towards Hawksnest and Hanging Rock the view was so beautiful. I just wanted to stand there with my coffee gazing like a zombie forever but JUB was calling. My blog was calling. My e-mail was calling. Photos of naked guys with hard cocks were calling!!!

peace to all of you today and always and thanks for the private thoughts and concerns.

End of the week for many and the start of a very busy weekend for me!!!

I am here in office with JUB and coffee burning a CD of the new Van Morrison album named Magic Time. I love Van Morrison. his voice is so sensual and sexy to me and he sings about live and love.

Maybe more later but for now I must be off and start some things in action that need to be done.

peace to you all this weekend and always

I am sure many of you are sleeping in today as it is Saturday and you have the weekend off, to play, shop, clean, be with friends or like me WORK!

I couldn't sleep this AM due to my hip so hey why not just get up and get cracking as they say.

The mist was rolling around the valley and my dog was restless and walking around waiting for his bowl to be filled, his toilet to be flushed and his treats as I head out the door.

I bagged up the garbage to dump in the dumpster on my way to the kitchen to get some coffee and not here I am.

Oh yeah when I went out to my truck there hanging from the rafters was a 6 or 7 foot black snake skin. The snake does this about this time every year. Sheds its skin across the front rafter of my garage/shed where I park my truck.

The skin is so fascinating. You can see through it. Wish I knew some use for it but alas I don't. Amazing that they can just shed their skin and underneath is a brand new one ready to use.

I have been watching the DVD of the second season of the Dave Chapell show. He is hilarious. So funny. He makes fun of everyone and that is what is so funny I think. No one is spared.

Have fun today and always - peace

So how was your day yesterday? Mine was really great if I must say so myself.

I fed my catfish in the pond. I love watching them swim around like "jaws" and push their huge sucker mouths up out of the water and grab the pellets of fish food I throw. Now that is a mouth born to suck! ROTFL!

I worked in my garden. It has been so wet my tomatoes are not doing a thing. We need some sun and heat to bring them on.

I worked on my story and got quite a lot done. That felt good and it made my juices floe so when I went home for my afternoon nap in my recliner I was leaking all over so I just lay there in my chair and had a great jerk off session and really creamed.

My Harry Potter came yesterday right on schedule so I need to finish the book I am reading so I can start on that. I am sure some young folks have already finished it!

I went to a great concert last night of mountain ballads and sad and depressing songs. It was good and the musicians were terrific. Didn't get home till 11:30 PM which is way past my bedtime!

So a lot going on yesterday.

Today is church in a few hours and then work and work. maybe some more writing.

Peace to you all today and always

Great weekend for lots of folks and I am glad.

Mine was good and I enjoyed myself. I was exhausted by the end of last night when I got home around 8 PM but it was a good kind of exhaustion from good work done well I guess you could say.

I finished the rough draft of a chapter in my story and now I just have to go through and edit the copy and correct spelling and typos and add a bit here or there so with all luck I should be able to post something by this afternoon.

Not sure what our weather will be today. It looks nice with scattered chance of a thundershower this afternoon.

peace to you all

Its Tuesday.

Last evening I had a lesson in the political game of developers and residents. As usual the developers ALWAYS win because they have the money and they always talk about economic development and providing jobs etc. It is very frustrating to say the least.

Basic story is people from Florida (we call them Floridiots!) with more money that they know what to do with want to come up here to the mountains and buy up land and then build 20-50 houses on this mountain land that really can't support it.

Plus they come up here for the mountains and the views etc and they want to bring Florida with then and have 20 neighbors within shouting distance or closer. It really is terrible and ruing our way of life.

But they win because they have money and in our society if you have money you win. It doesn't matter if you are right you still win just because you have money.

So that was disturbing and frustrating.

I then watched a film called Under One Roof. Not a great film but one of the first films I have seen that actually had frontal nudity of men in just an everyday situation. It was so refreshing to see guys naked in everyday life. No hard ons and no real sex but hey this was a step.

It is supposed to be very hot and very humid today.

love you all and peace

Wow did we get some rain yesterday afternoon and evening! It was coming down like the proverbial cats and dogs.

I was home around 3 PM to bake brownies for a big church even this Friday where they will sell them for fantastic sums of cold hard cash! LOL!

But they are good. In fact they may be the best brownies ever!

Recipe
Uncle Tom's Butterscotch Brownies

1/2 cup melted butter
2 cups dark-brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla

preheat over to 375 degrees

Butter a 9 inch square cake pan. Mix all the ingredients together, combining them well. Spread mixture in the cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until dry on top and almost firm to the touch. Let cool for 10-15 minutes, then cut in 2 inch squares. Should yield about 16 brownies.

So I was baking all afternoon. I make 7 batches of the brownies and drank about 6 glasses of wine. I was a bit looped by the end! But it was fun watching the rain outside and smelling the brownies bake inside.

I loved this quote I found.

"By staying awake, we keep the larger truths alive. By staying on the journey, we become a living bridge that keeps everything living connected. Not only is our journey essential to us, but each of us is a stitch that keeps the fabric underneath everything whole. Yet we all know it isn't that easy. It remains a struggle. This is the chief reason we need each other: to stay connected. How? By helping each other stay awake, stay true, and on the journey."

peace to you all

Yesterday was a great day here in our valley.

It was very hot though I think maybe even in the 80's which of course doesn't seem hot to many of you folks out there who are used to much hotter temperatures than that.

I went to a picnic in our local park last evening and it was nice. Lots of good folks and the rain held off. It looked like rain for awhile but then it was cool and breezy and beautiful.

Nice wine and fried chicken and someone made a salad with sliced buffalo mozzarella cheese and fresh tomatoes, a great cole slaw kind of salad with Raman noodles, potato salad, cheese grits (my favorite!!!).

Some great desserts, fresh homemade peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, my homemade brownies, a zucchini cake, cup cakes etc.

Needless to say my diet suffered and I ate to much but hey today I will just have to fast.

Peace to you all forever and a day

It is sunny this morning. Earlier it was very foggy which usually means it will be a great sunny hot day but of course one can never tell in the mountains.

I do have off this weekend. I will probably be in early to check my e-mail and get my coffee but other than that I am supposedly off.

Maybe work in the garden, maybe sleep, watch some movies, read some in my book so I can finish and then start Harry Potter.

So hope all of you have a great weekend no matter what you choose to do.

peace my friends

I really took the weekend off and didn't work at all. I must confess I did swing by early for coffee before anyone was here to check my e-mail and JUB but that was all I swear it on my hard stiff cock!

Great weekend reading HARRY POTTER!!!!!!

It was fun and I am so into it. I also went to a nice organ recital and no not the kind of organ I would have liked but the kind you politely sit down and listen to.

I also went to church and that was good. Great sermon.

I also went to a Taize service at a little country church down the road and that was magnificent.

So all in all it was a very nice weekend. I hope that yours was good as well.

I am really behind on my new chapter in my story and not sure when I can get back to it. I hope you guys can wait.

peace to you all

It is supposed to be another hot one today! At least it cools off at night which is a blessing that so many folks just don't have. I don't have any AC and don't really miss it. I have ceiling fans and a window fan to pull air through the house.

I ate fresh green beans and lettuce out of my garden last night and they were scrumptious! Nothing like fresh produce that you have grown yourself!

Our neighbor made his hay yesterday and got a record cutting. He has 60 extra round bales for sale over and above what he needs to feed his own cows!
Amazing how the grass can grown!

Peace to you all today and always

Another very foggy morning which probably means another very hot and sunny day with a chance of thundershowers this afternoon.

I have my coffee, I have dumped my garbage in the dumpster and I am at my computer with an erection after looking at all my subscribed threads and some delicious looking cocks and balls and guys! What a great way to start my day. The breakfast of champions and better than Wheaties any day of the week!

Some friends coming over for dinner tonight. A nice bottle of wine, Three Penguins Shiraz from Australia, fresh picked green beans and lettuce and maybe a zucchini or two if I am lucky. Grilled pork tenderloin which has been marinating all day and some pasta. Sounds good doesn't it?

I am reading Harry Potter and LOVING it! I am a little more than half way through and I just don't want it to end. I am completely sucked into the story. Ah fantasy isn't it wonderful? The mind can do such wonderful things and take us to incredible places.

Reading is wonderful!

peace my friends today and always

Last night was fun. Good friends and good conversation. As I was grilling the pork tenderloin the weather started to change and the wind picked up and the clouds were rolling across the other side of the valley.

It was cool to watch. We were all prepared to jump up at a moments notice to run inside with all our dishes and plates and bowls and shit but it didn't happen.

The breeze felt so good after the heat of the past few days and we talked and laughed and ate and drank. Finally at the very end of the meal but before the dessert we felt a few sprinkles of rain and so we took everything inside but it never did rain but it did cool off considerably.

For dessert one friend had brought some fried apple pies with vanilla ice cream. I felt like the Tom in my story because I wanted a pie and ice cream so bad that I threw caution to the wind and had one. Diet be damned and today I can fast! They were made by an 85 year old country lady and they were good!!!!! And I mean good!!!!

If you have never had a fried pie then of course you don't know what you are missing but they are true country food at its very best!

So anyway that was my evening. Hope yours was good.

peace to all today and always

I do have to work this weekend which is good in some ways as it will give me plenty of time to finish and hopefully post my new chapter in My Best Friend.

When I write I usually plot out a few days ahead to see what will happen or what might happen and then when I get to that day I can fill in the holes and expand on certain parts.

I keep a list of the characters and what they do and what they look like so hopefully I can keep them all straight and not make mistakes. Of course some mistakes in syntax will happen but I try my best to keep them to a minimum.

Anyway yesterday was a really hot day outside and I stayed mostly inside in the AC of my office and worked on a chapter ahead of the next one in my story if you can understand that. Yeah well this one was flying out of my finger tips. I mean literally flying. It was like Harry Potter or something. My fingers were like magic wands and the words just kept spilling out and the story was progressing at a rapid pace. It was intense and I was leaking down below. ROTFL!

What I do is write write write stream of consciousness and then go back later to correct grammar and misspellings. I just want to get the words on paper before they evaporate and I forget them.

So the story just took a life of its own and completely changed from my original outline. I mean wow in an 180 degree different direction than the one I thought first or intended. Damn it was hot and I was really smoking.

You of course will have to wait weeks to see what it was I wrote but until then just know that I thought it was good. No maybe it was great! You will have to be the judge. It was Wednesday and I have yet to post Sunday.

peace my friends and thanks for the support
