Today is another in a series of beautiful days however they say rain is moving in for the weekend which we really need. Hate that it will spoil lots of folks plans for the weekend but we really could use it.

We also got some much needed rain over the weekend. So how was your weekend or how is your weekend going?

Mine has been wonderful. Just relaxing and working in the garden and walking in the woods and reading and watching movies and having a picnic on July 4th in the park with friends, watching fireworks, jerking off of course, napping and drinking a few beers and eating some good food.

We are having a rain every day and sun every day kind of week.

This week in our area is the big Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. The largest games outside of Scotland and the highest altitude as well.

Sunday and I have been to church today and the sermon by a visitng preacher was good. Certaintly better than our normal fare which is horrible.

I have been depressed over the treatment of Gene Robinson in England by our church and by his peers. I am feeling a lot of anger right now towards our church and the other Bishops who are not speaking out against this outrage of exclusion. Christ would not have done this. I believe that from the bottom of my heart.

I may go to a swimming party at a local waterfall this afternoon. Well it is Tuesday and I leave for a bit of vacation time tomorrow and to tell you the truth I need some time off. I have been busting my butt and balls this summer and now I need some time off to hike and see friends out west and relax and have some wine and beer and sushi.

I had a GREAT time away. Everyone needs some time away to recharge their batteries and get a new perpective on life especially when one lives in the backwoods of Western North Carolina deep in the mountains.

I love flying and I LOVE airports especially this time of year. So many great looking guys in tiny t-shirts and lovely shorts. Damn it has been so gorgeous here in our little part of Western North Carolina. Warm and sunny and breezy but not to hot and cool to cold at night. OMG perfect weather for a perfect place.

I have been harvesting and eating homegrown tomatoes for the past several days. OMG there is absolutely nothing in the world as good as a homegrown tomatoe.

Of course I have never tasted cock so I might change my mind when and if that ever happens but until that day a homegrown tomato will be at the top of my list.

Well lets see where was I? Or where am I?

My tomatoes have been found by my deer neighbors and they love to pull the green ones off and then take one bite out of them and then leave them.
