Ok you have been reading my blog long enough to know that I went to church today. Actually I went to get the paper down at the general store early and then to church later.

It was so freaking booring. So you might say why the hell do you do man???? Sometimes I don't know but I go for a few of the folks i like and I go to celebrate the beaking of the bread at the Eucharist. that is what is important for me.

Yesterday was move in day at ASU the local college in Boone. The town was packed with parents and their young sons and daughters all ready to embarke on their college carreers. So many yung men. So many good looking young me. How many are gay? How many will find their gay side in the next few weeks? How many cocks will be sucked that have never been sucked before??????

Have you seen Matthew Mitchum the diver from Australia? Here I am at work and have been since 6 AM this morning. I like to get here early to get a jump start on the day with no phone calls and no interruptions at all. It is great. Quiet.

Oh yes my friends do the rain dance with me. It started yesterday around lunch and rained hard for about 2 hours and then tapered off and drizzled all afternoon and all night long and now all day it has rained a nice slow steady rain that is perfect to soak into the hard dry rain parched soil.

They are saying it will continue through Thursday lunch and then be nice for the holiday weekend.

Should do wonders for the gardens around here.

I went for a walk in it today and it was so nice to just walk in the woods and here the rain and feel it.

Got to love it. Everything in moderation.

We have had some spot flooding around here but the rains have never been so hard that they just run off. they have been steady and gentle and non ending for the past several days so the water is soaking in. Much needed in this part oif the world although everything is damp but I guess that is worth it as dry as we were.

Spent all day yesterday doing errands in town. i am usually the kind of guy who knows what he has to do and does it and gets out of town but yesterday was not that kind of day and I had to sit and sit and sit for 2 1/2 hours at one errand and that was so painful for me.

So what do you have planned for this holiday weekend. That is if you live in America?

I am working but going to a cook-out on Monday at some friends done the road a piece. I am taking some of my home grown tomatoes and some beer;). of course I will share.

I like this local NC beer called Duck Rabbit. they make a Porter than it awesome. I also like this beer that the guys at the beer staore call the Mad Monk. It comes from California and is what is called a heavy beer and is like 9% alcohol. Very good. Tasty. I like to put my beer in the freezer for about 20 minutes along with a glass and then take it out and drink it frosty cold!

Last night instead of watching a movie I went to ASU and heard sister Helen Prejean talk about the death penalty and her work to get it abolished and what the actual costs are to put someone to death. For society and finacially the costs are way to high. We will spend 800 billion dollars to kill people half way around the world but won't spend a fraction of that to correct the social problems that casue crime. She is an amazing speaker and wrote the book Dead Man Walking which they made into a kovie starring Sean Penn.

If you ever get a chance to hear her go. I urge you to go.

It is hot today. Really hot as the sun comes out and bakes the wet ground which causes steam to rise and thus is it freaking HOT!

I need my afternoon beer and it is calling to me from my fridge where it awaits my coming.

So another week has come and gone and I went to church again today and it was another in a series of boring sermons but the Eucharist was good and I talked with a few people I knew and like so that was good.

It was hot again today. I am working and it has been OK. Got a lot done.

Tomorrow is a holiday and I am working in the AM and then in the afternoon going to a party at a friends house. they have a pool so maybe I will get to see some hard tights abs and some trails and lots of legs and pits and nips. Love it!

I am feeling no pain today. I was not exactly drunk but I did have a few beers. Ha!

The sun came out and it was a marvelous afternoon and evening.

The young bucks were out in full force showing off for their parents and the girls in attendance. Some really nice abs and pit and nips and some great trails to watch. Nice legs and did I mention some rock hard 6 pac and 8 pac abs????

I even saw a few pubes showing over the tops of their board shorts. No speedos at this party.

But the real attraction for me was the brother of one of my friends who was here on a visit from CA. He was about 25-28 I would guess and teaches physical education in a school out in CA. So need less to say he was in shape and hot.

He fooled around with the kids and it was fun to watch him wrestleing and playing around and playing in the pool. Oh yeah he had blond hair that was about medium length and great blue eyes. We did have a few short conversations and when introduced and when we shook hands I almost fell to my knees. I mostly hung out with the older folks drinking beer and wine and eating and telling stories and wathcing the young folks play. He even has a girlfriend and loves to go out dancing. There was probably about 50 folks there in all and we had a great time.

Lots and lots of great food.

Glad that the hurricane seemed to have missed New Orleans. It seems to me the TV guys were all hoping for a disaster and were quite dissapointed when there was not as much damage as they had predicted. We love disaster as a culture and the TV people especially love it. Damn they have been talking about it for the past week and then today they are like onto something else. Makes me glad I don't have a TV.

Another great day in a series of great day. Really really foggy this morning when I left the house early for work.

I sat on the porch and watched the fog lift as the sun came out and it was fantastic. Damn it was so beautiful. I love to watch nature at work.

Now the sun is out.

The weather forcasters are making everyone afraid of the next hurricane. I don't mean to downplay hurricanes but I think they go overboard in scaring folks and then folks get all freaked out.

Oh well. Mid week for me how is it for you?

I know most of you are so excited that it is Friday and you get the weekend off. I am working but as I love what I do sometimes it doesn't seem like work most of the time.

Oh yeah did I tell you all that my shadow has been transfered to another location where he can shadow someone else. My life seems so free now!!!!

I have been working weekends for so many years that they just seem like another day to me.

Well today is cloudy and breezy as a remnent of hurricane Hannah which made landfall sometime last night and is now moving up the East coast of NC. We may get a few scattered showers but not much and some sun as she moves up the coast dumping her rain on Virginia, DC and New York.

So I am going out in the woods and checking one of our fence lines today. I love being out in the woods by myself just walking and looking and sitting and sometiems working!!!

To all I have been through hell this past month with a huge freaking fucked up virus that has attacked everything in my computer from photos to music to e-mails to wordperfect documents. It has been bad bad bad and I am freaking depressed about it all and it takes me a lot to get depressed.

Why do people have to invent these horrible things to attack innocent guys like me and turn our lives upside down? Just to prive they can I guess.

More sometime but I wanted to check in and let you kow where I have been

Sorry I have been out so long but this computer virus I got has really fucked over my life as we know it. I am scared to venture out into and onto the net any longer.

All my files were corrupted and Miscrosoft says it was one of the worst they have ever seen.

I lost a years worth of work right down the drain.

Anf all becasue some fucke dup human being decided to have fun and prove what a shity guy he is and destroy the life of another human being by destroying his computer.

I don't usually get depressed but here it is guys in the flesh.

If it weren't for one certain very best JUB friend I am not sure what I would do.

Well I am still recovering from my computer virus and all the losses I suffered both professionally and personally. I am depressed about those losses and I almost never get depressed so you know it must be bad.

I am excited about Obama being elected by such an overwhelming majority of our citizens. Lets hope we give him some time to do waht he has to do and that he can find the people to help him help us put of the big mess we are presently in.

Wow we are getting lots of the white stuff today and it is very cold here in Western NC. Very cold.

Hope you are all doing well. I am sorry to have sort of dropped off the radar lately but my life is just well mu life at the moment and I don't have the time I once had to check in as often as I have done in the past.

I hope you will forgive me. I will be back one day on a more permanent basis but for now it will be sporadic at best.

Yes my friends it is Sat and here I am working this weekend and loving the snow. We had a real blizzard yesterday which dumped about 5-6 inches of the white stuff on the top of our mounatin with huge gusts of wind. At some points I could even see 2 feet in front of me. It was so cool. Love it and love coming into the heat after being outside.

Then down at the base of our mountain in our little tucked away hidden valley we had a about 2-3 inches.

The roads were treacherous last night as the temps fell into the single digits around 9 degrees. But today the sun is out and the roads are melting and it promises to be a GLORIOUS day.
