Church today was boooooring and I almost fell asleep during the sermon.

It has been very cold here in our little part of the world this past week and today is in the 40's so it seems warm by comparision to yesterday at 12 degrees.

I saw the movie Milk the other day and LOVED it. Really excellent and Sean Penn is amazing and is James Franco and Emile Hersh.

Mine went well. No family fights which is always good. No friends fighting which is good.

Lot sof good food. I gained 10 pounds and now I must pay!

We have had 3 days oif rain and rizzle and the streams are quite high and the water is rushing. I love it. So powerful. Not high enough to come over the banks so that is good.

Our pond is coming over the edges and into the hayfield but I suppose that is OK. Probably some of the brim will escape but the catfish are buried in the mud so I don't think they6 are going anywhere.

Going out to play in the stream in awhile in my boots!

Will be out of town until the 20th so will not be able to post until then. That is a big day in our history. Obama as president. I am psyched! he has a big job to do as Bush left this country in a mess and lets hope he and his team are up to the challenge.

Today is brisk and cold but sunny. Yesterday was rain all day.

We are waiting on some interesting weather in the next few days and some folks just go bonkers. they buy up the grocery stores. Everything goes. Milk, bread etc. It is so funny!!!!

We have had quite a bit oif snow the past few days and it is also very cold.

Of course it did not slow us down or close us up like it did in England but..... we are true MOUNTAIN MEN I guess.

The sun is shining and some of it will melt today and then by Saturday it is supposed to be up in the 50's if you can believe that. What a change. From the single digits to the 40's and 50's.

We are in the middle of a heat freaking wave and it just the middel of February and we still need about 4 more weeks of nice winter weather for all the skiiers and ski resort operators. We need to keep our local economy rolling along.

It was 65 degrees yesterday and it mighyt be the same today. They are calling for some rain and high winds today.

It was so warm last night I even opened my sliding glass door as I was so hot!!! Now that might be a first for this time of year.

Well this week has seemed to go very fast and I have been very busy at work and Ash Wednesday was this week and the start of the Lenten Season. Lots going on.

So I watched 2 gay films last night.

The first was an old film from 1998 called Leather Jacket Love Story and surprise surprise it has lots of naked guys in it that fit the story and weren't just there for porn or whatever. That was refreshing to see in a gay film. Why can't more gay films do this? What the hell are they scared of?? I didn't particulary like the main character he was a bit too much over the top for me but the story was nice and it was an OK film. He was cute and blond and in the film 18. Sean Tataryn. Mink Stole was in it and I alwasy enjoy her.

The second wasa gay collection of films entitled He Likes Guys from 2008 and I must say these were all very good short films with gay themes. But no nudity at all. Some skin but no nudity. I just don't get it. Who do they think they will offend I mean it is a gay audinece who likes to look at cocks and balls so why not. Do they think straights are going to watch these gay films???

I love the one called Babysitting Andy. It was a riot.

Lets see on Sunday and Monday we had a blizzard with temps down by the 8 degree mark and 5-14" of snow on the ground and here it is Saturday and it is up around 70 degrees and sunny and people are wearing shorts and sandles. A white leg alert day as they say in the mountains.

One week ago snow covered everything around here and we were freezing with day time temps in the 20's and night time in the single digitis and then today it is sunny and in the 70's and we are watching the crocus push them out from the ground in front of our eyes.
